Well, I have finally set my Summer Fest wish list schedule. Over 11 days (from the 30th of this month through the 10th of July) I will be attempting to hit the following concerts at Summer Fest:
Way to fall (a great local band that a college friend plays in), LeAnn Rimes, Chasin Mason, Sugar Ray, Rusted Root, Phantom Planet, Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Pat Green, Theory of a Deadman, Ben Fold, John Waite, Styx, Jamie O’Neal, Gin Blossoms, Julie Roberts, Billy Dean & Craig Morgan, Violent Fems, Kenny Wane Shepard, Skid Row, Great Guns, Phil Vassar, Cowboy Mouth, White Snake, Issac Hayes, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Hot Apple Pie, O.A.R., .38 Special, Collective Soul.
In addition, we will check out some of the smaller local and regional bands. Unfortunately, a few shows overlap times so we may only catch a partial show of a few of them except for Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Pat Green show and the Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Hot Apple Pie which will be in the ampa theaters. All the other shows are on side stages so it is just a short stroll to move from one to the other so we should be able to catch part of all of them. Oh yeah and in between will be an annual 4th of July pig roast and a rodeo performance or 2. The best part is I figured out how to get all my tickets for free which is my favorite price!! Needless to say I might be a bit MIA during that time and a few days after! Wish me luck!

Well I've always wanted to see Travis Tritt in concert. I've heard he has a good show and that he will just keep singing and singing if he gets a good crowd. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Terri, I'm an avid supporter of country music, but White Snake and 38 Special will put on one hell of a show in WI. cowboy4443

Don't forget to take lots of pictures so you can post them:) Have fun and be careful!! *I was told I wouldnt be allowed to bring my camera...so i left it in the truck. * :-[sorry. #ezpi_blush# Anyways... Well the concert was a BLAST! ;D We stood in line from like 5:30 to 7:20 in the hot TEXAS heat. Luckily for me...we had gotten on the side of the expo center that gave off a nice little shade. At first Clay came out with a sound check and was totally bummed out (the way he was dressed) so he apologized and went to go change.(took forever like from 7pm to 9pm..he takes longer than I DO!) So Flint Thompson opened up for us. I had seen him at a D.A.R.E. graduation in 5th grade. If you ever get a chance to listen to him ...do it. He is really awesome. Then Clay came back out and gave one hell of a show! Not only did he play his songs, but others as well. such as: Sweet Home Alabama, Purple Rain,Aint Nothin But a Hound Dog, etc... The concert was over but because we were all SO loud and loved him SO much he came back out and gave us a lil more! #partytime# p.s. HE IS SOOO... HOTT! #cowboy# = #drool#

That sucks about not being able to take your camera:( But I am glad that you had a good time. It is awesome that he sang other songs as well. Makes it more interesting to see what they will actually sing:) And I agree. He is a hottie!!
