Hey Charlie- You better watch out we might be bringing a whole gang for you to play with this year. I have my reservations made and there will be a Corona and Jack tasting party in my room! A few people heard that it is such a good party that they are not even bullriding fans but are still thinking about making the trek! Your reputation precedes you!
Can't wait to make my annual trek to Nashvegas...you might want to warn them we are coming!

Our lawn is only five acres, so please limit it to under 900 people. Carol and I will of just stumbled back from Cancun three days before, but the pool, sound system, rolling bar, and margerita tent will be ready. Charlie PS: Whats this PBR bull riding they are advertising in Nashville on Feb 3rd. Challenger tour

Not sure what there is on the 3rd? Check it out and let us know! Hmmm under 900 I think I can do it...remember Cancun is just practice so you are in shape for the PBR event. Are you going to Rodeo Houston at all this year? I think that work is sending me to Texas during that time and am planning on checking it out for a night or two!

I wish school would send me places the same week the PBR would be there. I have to wait til NashVegas in June just to hit up my first BFTS event. Too bad I aint the drinkin age but if yall are there and you're over 21, my mom said it's ok to go to the bar as long as Charlie holds my hand crossin the street and Mary & Terri buy my drinks.......haha. Guess I will just have to do with these pics from the Jackson ET event til I get close enough to Kod Kod .

I found out today the February event in Nashville at Municipal Auditorium is Professional Cowboys Bull Riding (what ever the heck that means). They are advertising PBR and NFR riders will be participating (I thought NFR was the PRCA finals). Sounds like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Bull to me (maybe even the nacho man will ride). I hope to get to the Houston Rodeo, but my customer in Houston is hung up on hunting in Navasota (I will probably take a delayed flight back).

Actually I have been to PCB events and they put on a good show. They partner with a lot of the NFPB and BOA events in the area and have done some great things with Internet streaming etc. I know that several riders in the area that also do PBR, including some that have been on tour do ride in their shows. It will be interesting to see the final results and who ended up brining stock down there.
PS Nat I am deleting your pics because it is making this thread slow on my computer and messing up the spacing...basically irritating me!!

They tell me at the GEC that PBR tickets are selling great this year. Book your rooms early too. You can always cancel.

Anybody thats coming to Nashville and needs info on hotels is welcome to e-mail me at cowboy4443@bellsouth.net. I live just south of Nashville in Franklin, TN. Trust me, you do not want to stay near the airport, Opryland, or across the Cumberland River from the GEC (Gaylord Entertainment Center). There is a wonderful Hilton right across the street from the GEC, but it is pricey. Rennissance, Courtyard, and Embassy Suites is nice and so is Hamton Inn at Elliston Place. Vanderbilt campus is on West End Ave and a great area as well. Thanks, Charlie

I picked up our tickets yesterday at the GEC for the Sunday performance. Section 104. On Saturday, we have to attend an early wedding, but will be in town to party until the wee hours and probably catch a suite at the Hilton like last time. No one has contacted me about hotels in Nashville, so if you don't like the one you pick, don't whine to me. Charlie
PS: Saturday morning margeritias at my house is still an open invite to the forum.

I think all of us are staying at the host hotel which is the Renaissances right by the arena...Walking distance to Tootsies LOL! Eileen, myself and my friend will all be arriving on the same flight on Friday so watch out. I ordered my tickets through the PBR the other day so it will be a mystery where I am sitting until I get there !

Terri, The Nashville Rennisance is a great hotel. It is one block up from the GEC and adjoins the convention center. They have a parking garage across the street and plenty of glass elevators . That's a Marriott family hotel. You will do just fine. How about I make everyone brunch at my place on Saturday. Charlie

Two new businesses right across from Tootsies on Broadway.
Caddillac Ranch moved into the Red Iguana (was NASCAR Cafe before that). They feature mechanical bulls and Corona.
Trailer Paradise opened next to Wolfy's. You sit in an open air lounge on painted tires while having a Corona. Anyone that feels just a little on the trashy side will feel like home at Trailer Paradise.
Cheers... Charlie
