What did everyone think of this bull's BFTS debut this past weekend?
As far as I'm concerned, he will be a Bull of the Year contender for years to come. It's a little too late this year, but keep an eye on this one for the next few seasons. For those who don't know, he is a son of Crossfire Hurricane, and he is rank! He bucked off Kody Lostroh in the first round, and J.B. Mauney won the event on him with 93 points!
I'll definitely have my eye on this one. D&H Cattle Company was kinda missing in action a little earlier in the season, but they have been around more lately. They must have been reloading!

Crosswire scared me! Sure glad it wasn't me crawling on his back this past weekend. If he continues to stay as rank as he was in GR, he'll be very interesting to watch in the future.
I was kind of surprised to see the tough bulls in round one - usually they reserve them for round 2 and the short-go. The cowboys really had to work their butts off this weekend. Cody Lambert made sure of that!

I saw where Crosswired will be bucking at the ABBI Classic this afternoon in Section 3. There are a lot of bulls in the Classic event that have already bucked in the Finals, so hopefully Crosswired will buck this weekend.

Yeah, I saw that as well. It doesn't make much sense that we haven't already seen Crosswired at The F inals because he is better than half the bulls that have been out so far.
I'm looking forward to seeing him buck this week though. Hell, I would love for the ABBI Classic to be shown on TV, even if it was just a highlights show or something.

Me too, Cody. I searched through the DirecTV line-up for the next two weeks looking for a show with ABBI or Classic in the title, but nothing showed up. Maybe they saved Crosswired for the Classic event hoping he'll win that. I just hope he'll be at the PBR Finals this weekend because he is one rank bull.
On another note, I emailed Taylor Made Bulls to see what's going on with Smokeless Wardance. Don't know if they'll respond or not, but I saw where he won't be at the NFR either.

Crosswired looked great last night. Only thing is, Mauney looked even better. Worth every point of the 93.75 he got, though IMO he should've been more points.
And it sucks to hear Wardance won't be at the NFR either. I hope he's not done yet, as long as he's been around.

I agree he deserved that score and more, but I have a question:
All year long we have seen slightly decreased scores from bulls that jumped high and twisted and turned like crazy (although not that high and not that crazy--Crosswired was insane last night!) because, as the announcers put it, the bull didn't really enter a spin.
So, if the spin is what's so important to the judges, perhaps that's why he only scored a 93.75? Because Crosswired didn't actually spin much.

He reminds me of Bomber is his prime.

Because Crosswired didn't actually spin much. I think in order to accomplish a spin, it requires that a certain amount of time is spent with the feet touching the ground. Ain't gonna happen with that bull, since he's in the air more than he's on the ground!! Crosswired's style and Just A Dream's style are somewhat the same, but I don't think Crosswired is out to hurt anyone. I feel JAD wants the cowboys off his back fast, and if he hooks one or smashes one in the face in the process, even better. Where's JAD been anyhow? Anyone seen him lately???
