From original press release:
The owner of The Dish Network and cable channel OLN reached a multiyear agreement on Monday that restores the NHL carrier to subscribers of the nation's second-largest satellite television provider, just as the playoffs begin.
Echostar Communications Corp. pulled OLN from its system in October because of a contract dispute at the beginning of the NHL season.
Although best known for broadcasting the Tour de France and cyclist Lance Armstrong, Comcast Corp.-owned OLN this fall took over broadcasting hockey games on cable from ESPN.
Terms of the agreement will not be released, OLN spokeswoman Amy Phillips said.
"It was important that we negotiated a fair contract, enabling DISH Network to remain a tremendous value for our customers," Eric Sahl, senior vice president of programming for Echostar said in a statement released by both companies. "We look forward to a long relationship with OLN in which we can provide the network to our customers."
OLN will be part of a premium package offered by Dish Network.

I have DirectTV and the other night I got a call from a satalitte company asking if I had cable or a dish. I told her I had DirectTV and she asked if I would be interested in switching to Dish Network. I told her that since Dish had taken OLN off their program line-up, I would not consider it, because I would not want a service that will pull channels off their line-up at a drop of the hat. She just said oh......and thanked me for my time. She really didn't have much to say after that and she didn't spend time trying to talk me into changing (like so many other companies..i.e. phone companies). It was funny how fast she ended the conversation after I had said that. I thought I would just share that....I love my TIVO & DirectTV...LOL

We have had DirecTV for awhile now, and they took off our local channels last week. We are getting DISH Network effective August 15th. I was worried because OLN wasn't on the channel listing, but I guess it's back on DISH afterall. I had to come here to make sure. On a sidenote, that's pretty crappy of DirecTV.

Too late for Dish, I love my DirecTV now and plan on keeping it.
Dish did those of us who had it dirty and I will NOT give them any more money if I don't have to, I mean the week of the PBR finals, didn't seem to care much for the PBR fanbase I didn't think or hte loyal customers who had supported their network all those years.
I will however "dish" directv should it ever stop carrying my OLN! I would have no choice!
