I seem to recall the PBR noting that the Molalla challenger event would be televised on the 20th (I think), but with their updated OLN TV schedule, I don't see it anywhere. Are they not going to air it now? If that's the case, that's kinda crappy IMO. But is it a sure thing?

I'm kinda "iffy" on this because it was supposed to air originally. I have confidence that it's still going to air on the 20th, but they did take it off the list.
Either way, the PBR website needs to get their story and stick to it.

I emailed the PBR people, and they said that due to technical diffulties the event won't be aired on tv. I think it's funny that we can go to Mexico but not Oregon.

Thanks for the update wilkehl. I guess that makes it official. Now we do have to wait until the Mexico event to see some new stuff on OLN. Oh well, it's only two weeks away I guess.

I was pretty sad because I was really looking forward to seeing this. I'm sure everybody else was, too. I'm kind of excited to see how everything turns out in Mexico. I bet it'll be an interesting event.

So we only get Cheyenne this year. Hmm. So much for "more CT coverage." That is too bad. Molalla will probably be a great event too, I bet.
In '04, we got 5 CT events (including the CT finals), last year we got 3, and this year, we get 1. Is anyone sensing a pattern here....?

I think it would be really good if they aired more CT events too. They are a part of the PBR too. I see a pattern too. ONLY Cheyenne was aired this year, when normally there are a few CT events aired on t.v. I just can't wait to see the event in Mexico. It should be really exciting!!!

Oh that's too bad they wont be airing it. I'm glad I live here and get to go, but only to 1 night. Was hoping to catch the other night on OLN.
Ross was interviewed this morning on one of our local country stations. Just your average interview surrounding the upcoming event and such. The interviewer could of use a bit of help, but all in all a good listen.
Certainly made my moring work errands more enjoyable ;D

I haven't been paying much attention to the PBR lately, so there ain't as many CT events on TV this year? Huh...sounds like the bullriding fad may be reaching its end and the true red blooded rodeo fans will be getting our sport back. Yipee!

They are taking events to Mexico, Hawaii, and Alaska in the next few months. It sounds like to me they are getting even more popular and picking up more steam.

They'll bottom out. I guarantee half of you won't be watchin' no bullridin' in about 5 years because it just won't be hip no more.

I was at the Molalla event this weekend, and I can tell you it was an awesome event. Too bad they won't be airing it on TV, I was really looking forward to seeing it again.

Ya my husband and I went on Saturday. We had a great time! We're definitely planning to go next year, hopefully both days this time.
