Well the CBR has announced an official agreement with a new Sponsor, Crown Royal. It should be a great partnership as Crown Royal has supported rodeo for sometime now. So let's all enjoy a crown and 7 and support the sport! I was also pleased to see that despite the effects of Katrina and Rita the CBR is still planning on holding their final event and their finals in Mississippi and Texas. It may be a small step in helping the area return. For more information regarding the partnership and for the latest newsletter here is the link. www.cbrbull.com/newsletter/October_Newsletter.pdfWhile you are out there you may also want to check out the Cowboy Crossroads column that Cicily Cross does. It is a fun column about some of the behind the scenes stuff and this month includes updates on Matt Austin, Austin Meier, Colby Yates and Clayton Williams and also references Cody Whitney, LJ Jenkins and Panhandle Slim's passing among others. Since there is no PRCA officially injury update this is one of the best sources of information sometimes. www.cbrbull.com/crossroads.asp?record_no=5245

I wish I could get Crown Royal to sponsor me. At least at the Alligator Bar at the Orleans during the NFR.

Terri - I had a chance today to read this month's 'Crossroads' and Cicely mentioned something about Terry's liver condition. Do you have any idea if she's talking about Terry Williams or Terry Holland or Terry Don West or another Terry altogether different? Just wondering which Terry she's referring to.... - Dana

I believe that it is Terry Williams. I know that he was in the hospital about a month ago with some health issues. I guess that was an assumption that I made though and did not really think that it might be a different Terry until you asked the question. I will do some digging and see if I can confirm that it is in fact Terry Williams.

How sad! I truly hope that Terry's illness is treatable. I've never met the man, but he always looks like he's such a likeable guy - always a smile on his face and a pat on the back and kind words for the bullriders after their rides. I'll think good thoughts for him in the days to come.
