The CBR Bull Bash took place in Lufkin TX on the 25th of February and BJ Schumacher is now $10,000.00 richer. It looks like he has gotten the rust knocked off after his injury. Hopefully he can hold off the injury plauge for the rest of the year and show all that he can do. I am perdicting that if he stays injury free for the rest of the year we will be seeing him in the finals for all three top associations. He held off JB Mauney of North Carolina who has been riding very well lately. Here are the results: B J SCHUMACHER, Hillsboro,WI 177 $10,000.00 JB MAUNEY,Mooresville,NC 176.5 $5,720.00 CLAYTON FOLTYN,El Campo,TX 172 $3,432.00 SAM SMITH,Sulphur Springs,TX 91 $2,288.00 KOLT MILLER,Converse,TX 90 $1,372.80 JUSTIN RICHARDS,Houston, TX 88.5 $800.80 CURTIS SEAMANS,Ravenden,AR 88.5 $800.80 COOPER KANNGIESSER,Zenda,KS 88 $228.00 RONNIE KITCHENS,Mansfield,TX 88 $228.80 The injury list included Paul Merritt, Daniel McNeill and Travis Sellers. Paul was in the hospital for observation due to abdominal injuries. I am predicting that if he stays injury free for the rest of the year we will be seeing him in the finals for all three top associations. Unfortunately, that's a BIG "if." He hasn't proved he can stay healthy the past couple years, but there is always hope for this season. He is going to have his struggles to make the PBR Finals, I know that much. He just doesn't ride with the same confidence and swagger at BFTS events. Maybe he will earn enough through the CT events. Where is he standing as far as PRCA standings go?

He is barely in the top 45 in PRCA. Has about $5,000. But, its early in the year so anything can happen.

He's only been riding for a little over a month. He had that injury that kept him out of the finals. His luck on the injury thing needs to change. Last I heard, he is feeling great.

Caught the broadcast of Lufkin Wednesday. Looked like they had a full house, the bulls were good, and there were lots of good rides. Enjoyed the new broadcast arrangement also. I liked Andy and Terry in the booth, but the new arrangement works for me.
