alrighly guys...today..... today started out by going to the ford motor factories where they make ford explorers and SUV type vehicles. they turn out a car every 45 seconds! the tour took an hour and a half to walk around the entire factory. it was long and boring. after that we had to go the convention center where we had another hour and a half to kill. walked around and then went outside and were by the cars waiting for everyone to show up. next we drove to maker's mark distillery. we got a tour around the facility, then went to the gift shop where if your buy a bottle of burbon, you get to dip it in wax yourself. got my dad to buy me two bottles, he also had to dip then because i couldnt oh well. after that we went to a go-cart course to kill time. it was freakin awesome. the track is a mile and a half long, and the carts went about 25. it turned into bumper-carts. we were running each other off the road, spinning each other around corners. did that for about 2 hours and then we went and ate dinner. after that we went back to the course for a few more races. that was the worst races yet. we were all out sending each other off the track. the last race was out of control. at one point, i was ran off the track, where i proceeded to jump the cart and catch air, go through a creek, and end up back on the track. it was a blast. the workers there didnt like it, but the other kids were cheering when i pulled up, lol. after that we headed back to the hotel. the blazer i was in got back early, we decided to put the rental to the test. went to the other parking lot, where we went up an embankment to get back to out parking lot at the hotel. we fish tailed up the hill and then spun out across the parking lot from wet wheels. we had an audience of ffa kids loking out their hotel window where we then proceeded to go around the parking lot and then go though a drainage ditch, jump and then spin out some more. kids were cheering by then, lol. we can now say that the rental is semi broken in, lol. that is all for the night. tomorrow is the ceremony for the american degree recipiants and then we are going to churchill downs track, somewhere else. that is it for now, terri, that is your playby play for the day

Sounds like you are having a lot of fun! I am pretty sure I even know what track you went to play on from the way you described it. I have spent about 3 months in Louisville at different times so I am starting to get to know the city pretty well. Be careful with that rental car though you know they have a you break it you bought it policy! Sorry to hear that you were not able to dip your bottles but at least you were able to get a few of them. Did they not have shot glasses you could dip? When I was there we did both bottles and shot glasses. Don't get in any trouble (note I did not say don't cause any trouble just don't get into it...i.e. don't get caught!) Have a great rest of your trip!

haha, i wont have to pay for the car. i am not driving it yeah, you had to be 21 to dip them, and all of the glasses and everything were already dipped that they were selling. i have not been caught yet for the trouble that i have caused!!! haha this morning i had my ceremony for my American Degree that i got. i had to walk across a stage in front of like 40,000 people! i have never been infront of that many people in my life. i am just glad that i didnt fall down. i kinda tripped though, that would have been way embarrasing, lol. after the ceremony i went to a collagiate career show and i talked to a few companies about possible getting an internship somewhere. i will see what happens with that. then i couldnt find anyone from my group, so i was sitting outside and i started talking to some people from florida...to say the least they were very interesting. the girl was.........i cant even describe..buck teeth, had a lisp and was chewing. the advisor was nice and one boy was normal and the other boy was a bit special. Jamie, i sure hope that youare not like that girl, lol. my sista cant be like that! after that we went to churchill downs and looked at the museum there and took a little tour it was fun. now i am back at the hotel, ready to sleep. we are headed to dinner in a bit and then i think that they want to go bowling. i just want to come back and sleep, i can barely keep my eyes open. anyway, that is all for now, i fly out tomorrow, so i will talk to you guys and gals later!

To finish the day, a man on the airplane told on of the teachers that this restaurant called ¡¥Jucie¡¦s BBQ¡¦ (the name should be enough) was a great place to eat. Took us a while to find the place, we get there, and there is not a single customer there¡K. My teachers went in and walked out. You could see that the food had been sitting there for a long time and also the fact that no one was there, we left and went to outback for dinner. After that we decided to go back to the go cart place ƒº we were going to rent the track for an hour and a half, but not everyone wanted to stay that long, so we all went around 4 times. It was all out war between us on that track. At one corner, I was spun out off the track, almost flipped because I spun around about 6 times. I sent a few people into a ditch, and it was great. At the end, I couldn¡¦t feel my hands, and my eyes were running from the junk that was in there, but it was all worth it. We then put the rental through its paces again, swerving in the road, going throught some ditches and puddles and peeling out in parking lots. All and all it was a good night. Anyway, that is about the last of the stories for my trip, I will let you all know when I am safe and sound in cali. There may be some interesting airport stories tomorrow because we have a three and a half lay over in Chicago tomorrow¡K..

Have a great flight back and just think during your three hour layover you will only be an hour and forty-five min from my house! The closest you have ever been to me !
