Interesting read, but I'm a firm believer that if anyone is going to win a 3rd world title, it'll be Adriano.

Nah, Adriano won't win a third world title. I think he could end up in the top 10, but I don't think he will keep up with Shivers, Lee, McBride, Marchi, etc. over the long haul.
I'll give him props for a great first event, but there are about 30 more to go. It's way too soon to start talking about a third world title.

I think that if Adriano stays healthy then he has a chance, but any injury is going to take twice as long to heal then any of the young guys. I would really love to see Chris take the third title though, it will be really interesting if these guys are battling it out at finals.

I know Adriano can do it this year. but he told me he wont retire until he feels like he's done, or until he wins the 3rd world title

I agree with Cody, as much as I would love to see Adriano win again, I don't think he'll keep up. Although, I'd love to see him prove me wrong!!

I too would have to aggree wi th Cody, as much I enjoy watching him ride I just don't think he can do it. Its the looking of his bulls and hitting the ground early that has gotten my attention. He has had a great carrer but think the time in near that he should retire............Lonny

I think he can do it! Anything is possible. If anyone could do it Adriano can and then I think he wil retire. It is a goal of his to win 3 world titles and I wonder if he would quit before he did that?

If I were No. 1 in the world for much of the season and people said I should retire, well I'd just say check the standings.

I agree, the standings say something. If he were "too old" for the sport I think he'd quit but apparently he isn't since he is so high up in the rankings and keeping up w/ the "young guns".
Anything is possible, guess we wont' know until November 06.
It is a possibility though I think Lee is just as hungry and we KNOW Chris Shivers is, they feed off of one another.

Even after two back to back sub-par weekends for Adriano! It will be a dogfight no matter who up top near Vegas!
