If they announced it earlier, i must have missed it, but I see Hammer is going to be retired at the PBR finals along with Little Yellow Jacket and Blueberry Wine. All great bulls in their prime. I think BBW might be the only one still at the top of his game.

It is a shame that so many of my favorite bulls either have been retired already or will be retired at the finals. I love BBW and agree with you 100% out of all the bulls he is still the least ridable of them. I am so glad I will be in Vegas to see his last out!!!
It will also be sad to lose Hammer... He has had his ups and downs but even when he is ridden it is for a big score.

I hear the retirement for Hammer will be after they ride him around in the opening ceremonies of the Finals carrying the flag.
I coughed seeing his name mentioned in the same line as Blueberry Wine and even He never was in the same league.
Hammer ridden 7 out of 18 times this year %40 of the time.
Blueberry Wine 2% this year
Hammer ridden 12 out of 53 times career 22.6%
Blueberry Wine 9 out of 91 times career 9.9%
Nearly DOUBLE THE OUTS AS HAMMER
Never considered this bull in the great category, just hyped at a time when PBR was breaking out on Network and he happened to have a little streak going.
A streak does not make a career.
This one I won't miss at all!
