By the way, if Reindeer bucks like he did with LJ Jenkins on his back, I think he will be a future bull of the year. He was very honest on that trip and rideable in the PBR guy's eyes. That is a big deal to them.
Big Bucks may not have been ridden on the BFTS, but he is still rideable. And the riders take that into consideration. Reindeer usually looks unrideable and quite frankly, unfair.

yea Cody they are career but that is why i said there are newer bulls ahead of him (Just a Dream, Shane, etc..). Regardless, I am not saying Big Bucks isn't a good bull. He is rank and I am glad to see politics didn't totally play into it.

I have never seen a bad trip from Deuces Wild. I have seen numerous trips from Reindeer where he didn't get in a pattern, not counting the two appearances at the Finals where he was just plain awful. I just don't really care for bulls like Reindeer, unless he bucks like he did with LJ Jenkins.
I think he is kinda trashy at times. That's just my opinion though. I know a lot of people bow down before him, and that is their choice. I would still take Deuces Wild or Wardance over him any day.

You know Cody, there used to be a bull called Bodacious who won many honors was mnever rode and then finnaly retired so i guess reindeer could do the same. He is a great bull but there are so many better then him. deuces, big bucks, lyj, wardance and many more.
With that said did anybody nmotice that rooster isnt in the finals that is crazy i love that bull.

Ive seen Deuces Wild have a couple of just OK days. Still a good bull, but they couldnt have been more than 83 or 84 on him. I think Ive seen every bull have atleast one so-so day though. He is a solid bull, but I would never expect him to win BOTY.
Bodacious was ridden 8 times. He was rank for about 5 seconds but if you rode him past that he just loped around in a circle.
Rooster probably will never buck again. He was injured earlier in the year, and he is most likely retired.

I have been watching this sport for a long time & Reindeer is one the best to come along in a while. His problem is still those two outs at the finals. Everyone remembers those. I think Big Bucks is a rank dude and bucks hard every time. He deserved to win the title.
Bodacious was awesome. CSB you know bull riding too well to make a comment like he just loped around after 5 seconds. Most people never got close to the 5 second mark on him. Look at the ride with Tuff or Clint Branger's ride he bucked the entire time and the scores reflect that fact.
As far as BOTY selections that guys made the whistle on quite often there have been a few. 1999 Promise Land 1998 Moody Blues 1996 Baby Face Baby Face was just a great draw, but he bucked hard every time and the riders loved him.
Just my two cents worth.

He didnt hog off or anything like that, but he was noticibly weaker somewhere after the 5 second mark. Most guys didnt make it that far, but you watch the videos, you will see it.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I do think he may have become weaker, but weak for him meant he still bucked harder than 90% of the other bulls. The only ride I remember where I thought that he did not buck hard after the 5 sec mark would be the first ride Bubba Dunn made on him.

I have to agree with you on that he was still a bucker after the 5 second mark.
