Ok, I know Reindeer did not have a great trip the first weekend of finals but.......... I was shocked that we never saw him the second week. At one point I was chatting with the co-owner of Werewolf (I think on Friday) and they were waiting to hear the draw to see if maybe Reindeer would go that day. Now they had Reindeer there Saturday for a tribute to Mikel Moreno but again he did not perform. Anyone know why? ? I also have to say I was heartbroken that they moved the bulls to a private facility which meant the fans could not see them. My greatest enjoyment is going to the stock pens and seeing the bulls and talking to the folks that own or care for them. I hope this is not a permanent thing.

I don't think Reindeer is on Cody Lambert's good list right now, especially after his crappy out in round two and his past history in Vegas. Both of those factors probably played a part in him getting the second weekend off so-to-speak (that was for you Dana). It's unfortunate because Reindeer is so athletically gifted and fun to watch when he has his normal trip. I hope he comes back in good form next season because this one was a terrible one for the most part. That does staink about the private facility though. I always enjoyed looking at the pictures you posted.

I'd tend to agree with everything CThrash said; I don't think Reindeer is on the good bulls list right now.

Reindeer did not perform as well as the other bulls and that is why he was given the weekend off. They were not going to risk another bad out with him. I was pretty surprised to see Mossy Oak Mudslinger on Saturday night though and not on Sunday.

CT you are right. The "word" was that Cody had Reindeer on his S**T list after that trip. However I was under the impression that Mr. Moreno thought the bull would go out again.
I swear Las Vegas is a curse for this bull.

I gotta say with some many GREAT bulls there that I understand why Cody didn't ask the bull back. Kinda sucks for a rider when you draw a tough bull like that and then get stuck with a reride if you do ride him (like what would have happened IF Justin rode him).

He looked better in Sac-Town, but not great. He's still my favorite bull!

The 30 or so seconds looking at Reindeer in the chutes beats any Super Bowl pregame show.

How about Reindeer last night in Anaheim? That was the best I've seen him since early last season. If he continues to have trips like that, he will be in the top two or three for bull of the year. I just don't think his earlier trips helped him any though.
When he bucks like he did last night, he is as good as there is. It was a very rank trip, but it was pretty honest as well.

He had an amazing out but I don't think that he will be in the tops for bull of the year. There are too many other great bulls out there that are far more consistent. The riders know that he can be amazing but also see him as inconsistent and they are the ones that vote. Immediately after the ride Greg Potter even commented that it was a great out but that you never know what Reindeer will show up and that he seems to sometimes get confused and just run around.

Reindeer is just plain and simple not wired right. I doubt that you will even see him in the top three picks for bull of the year plain and simple because he is off and on. Reindeer won't get rode much just for the simple fact that even on his off nights he is a pig to ride! I have been around alot of bull's like him in my life that when they settled down they were the rankest bull in the pen and when they were off they were really off. He reminds me alot of Don Kish's bull Wildside if any of you remember him when that bull was on he was really on when he wasnt he really wasnt. He does seem to be settling down a little bit more though he didnt throw a fit in the chute I noticed which usually he's going to waller around in there and be terrible to get out on.

Man, that trip in Anaheim was awesome! Certainly the best one I've seen him have since Laughlin in '05. I hated that it was at the expense of Brian Herman - boy, did he spring a leak or what! - but it's good to see the ol' Reindeer back. Now if only he could do it consistently - Las Vegas included! Then one day, he could finish better than the 5th place he received for BOTY in '05.
He is wired differently though, I do agree. He is truly psychotic! I just hope he has more awesome trips up his sleeve though.

Anaheim was an amazing out for Reindeer.
I had the most awesome seats in the house (Randy Bernard was sitting two seats over from me) and Reindeer came out right in front of us. I was cheering as loud as I could for him.
I was so happy to see him have such a great trip. It is ashame when he has a not so good out that it is never forgotten. Bet if he had the name Teague attached to his name he would suddenly be in contention for bull of the year.
Congratulations to the Moreno family for having a bunch of nice bulls at Anaheim.

Yeah Longhorn, I remember Wildside. I also liked him! Your right, unless something amazing happens, Reindeer will never be a Top 3 bulls again. Yet I hope he gets to buck in the PBR for a few more years.
