Rumor has it that there are putting together a pretty good pen of bulls for the first event of the season. They are struggling a bit though as many contractors are hesitant to take their top bulls into NYC let alone haul them to the North East in the middle of winter. I can't say I really blame them. I know several contractors have had issues at other events trying to get the bulls to the arena in major metro areas. It should be interesting to see what bulls are there and which bulls the contractors choose to leave at home. Can't wait to see the draw.

I can't wait to see the pen of bulls they get together either! I almost bought tickets for the Versus invitational, but i'm going to Worcester the next week, so decided not to... but can't wait to see the draw! As for contractors hauling their bulls to the North East in the middle of winter... it seems like late spring here right now, so hopefully it doesn't change before the event! It'll be really nice to see some live bull riding again!

Too bad you backed out! Cool that you're going to Worcester and all, though.
I'll be going to this event for SURE! I live in NY and I wasn't gonna be denied. I was at the event at Nassau Coliseum in '05 and while you had some good bulls there (such as Big Bucks, Just a Dream, Rocket Man (er, Scene of the Crash) and Camo), there wasn't a whole lotta quality, though still fun was this event. I can't wait to see which bulls they compile for this very event though - I know I'll have a good time! I'll only be at the Sunday performance, though, or else I would've gone to all of them. Still, I just can't wait!
I wonder who else is going, but I shouldn't - I bet I'm the only one in the board that is going.

Ya im going to NYC too! but its been in the 50's up here and i dont think snow is in the immediate future, so hopefully with the warmer weather they will be more willing to bring the bulls up. Plus ive shown my horse at madison square garden and all the stabling is under the actual arena, its pretty huge and somewhat accomidating. I imagine they'll put the bull pens where the temporary stabling would be and it is quite comfortable under there, and quiet for the bulls.

I sure was. I think he could be a short-round bull before long.
Encore, I think, is another one to look out for.
And while they didn't show him on TV (kinda too bad too), Gee Wally really looked impressive in Round 3, and Ednei Caminhas was really gonna be some huge points had he lasted another half a second.
All in all, impressive set of bulls they had there. And I'm not even mentioning the superstars!

Id say Superman will be in the championship round at the next event, he was very impressive.
