I think it was said this past weekend by Justin McKee (on the PBR telecast) that Hammer had passed on recently. That's very sad to hear - he was one of the best on tour when he was in his prime. Let's hope some baby Hammers are on their way!
R.I.P. Hammer. My condolences to Tony Sharp and all those who knew and cared for Hammer. And so we've lost another great bull....

Yeah, I heard that too. Sad.
Is it just me or are the bulls just not living as long anymore. We just lost Red Wolf (old time bucking bull for those who don't know). In a previous boardcast they showed a clip of him and said he was elven years old in the clip and that the clip was taken seven years ago. That would make him eighteen when he died, other old ones like Skat Kat (to my knowledge) are still alive. But now we have bulls like Hammer to died at twelve, Hotel California who died at six or seven (don't remember), Kid Rock.....list goes on. It seems to me that a lot of young bulls are dying lately. Forgive my rambling.

Is it just me or are the bulls just not living as long anymore. The major thing is that bulls are publicized more now. Years ago you never heard about a bull dieing on a tv broadcast cause they were just bulls. But as we all know the pbr has become to recognize bulls as athletes themself ( I think that Justin McKee has done tremoundous things for the PBR in the stock contractor area as far as getting them noticed). Bulls are just like human beings some live longer then others. For one to only live to be 12-13 is about average. As far as Kid Rock, and Hotel California those were unforeseen circumstances, it happens.
