[glow=red,2,300]Congratulations to Jeff Robinson, Mike Tedesco and Larry the Cable Guy owners of Chicken on a Chain![/glow] Chicken has been impressive all year long and came to Vegas ready to buck. For those of you that may not have heard (not sure if they had announced it on the TV broadcast), he was the only bull to be unanimously voted into the running for BOTY. I can't wait to see what he does next year. We will hopefully be seeing some impressive off-spring from Chicken as well. His straws fetched a fantastic price at the Finals Bucking Bull sale. Here is another interesting fact for you. On November 8 2005 even before his first BFTS event in 2006 Chicken on a Chain was singled out as a bull to watch for by three board members. Two years later he is BOTY. You never know what you might find out next!

While I still think Big Bucks is the best bull in the world, Chicken on a Chain definitely deserved the award for Bull of the Year. Those two were among the best all year, and they were the two best at the Finals as far as the finalists go. Chicken on a Chain stepped it up big time! Congrats to the bull and owners.
By the way, I liked how they decided on bull of the year. It kept things interesting throughout the finals on the bull side of things, and it makes sure the bull of the year performs during the biggest event of the year.

At first I didn't think the way they changed the system for bull of the year was fair, but I agree, I thought it went pretty well. It was an added component to the finals. The first time I heard about Chicken on a Chain was at the CT event in Manchester, NH. I was there (although I didn't get to see him buck) and everybody began talking about what a great bull he is. It was after that that he came on the BFTS. Congrats to Chicken and his owners!

Congratulations to Chicken on a Chain's owners, he was also the highest rated bull for the entire year and also won the most bull of the event titles this year as well. He was clearly the best bull this year and I really like this new bull of the year format.

Who's got the skinny on where Chicken on a Chain spends his down time. Robinson's joint is just up the road from me, but I didn't think he would be there.

"Chicken on a Chain" spends most of his time in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Depending on weather conditions and travel schedule, he may be pastured elsewhere.
