I'm not trying to compeate with anybody, I just wanted a place to try to meet more people and see more pictures and such. I love this site and use it may times a day and I don't think that's anybody's intention when starting a group site.

Hey there, rossco4worldchamp - sorry if you took my comment wrong. No offense meant. It's just that all the other bullriding/rodeo boards out there just seem so, so...........I don't know what word to use.........maybe disjointed, under-developed, I dunno. I just know that I've tried checking out the other ones out there and when I wanna spend my time talking about bullriding, I inevitably come here. Alot of the other boards, there's alot of gossip, recipe-exchanging, teenagers gushing about how they wanna marry their fav riders, etc - I just ain't into spending my time reading that drivel. Good luck with your board and I'll try to visit it again and not pass judgment before giving you a fair shake.

I have to agree Dana... I used to be a member of a few yahoo groups b4 this board was around. Those boards are horrible and not just the content aspects but the actual set up. All the posts are in the same section so you have to weed through it all. Here you see the main topic and all the replies. If one topic isn't of interest for you, you don't have to read it. I love the organization of boards like this, rather than those because you feel confused a lot of the time.

Thanks, Kelly, for saying what I was trying to say. After being a member here for so long, it's kinda hard to think that there can be anything out there that compares, as far as topic content, organization, etc. I don't know what I'd do without being able to visit this place. I guess I would get a little more work done while at work, anyhow!! And maybe even spend a little more time with my hubby! heh heh |

Well being I am on this board all day, I don't look at a whole lot of other bull riding sites. In fact, I had rather come here than the PBR site on most days!!
But I will check out that yahoo site!!

I have no problem with your signatures or people posting links to other sites that have bull riding and/or rodeo news on them. I just ask that it be kept within reason and using common sense about it. If we have an issue with anything that is happening we contact the member privately and discuss it with them.
Besides I don't think that our members are going to be running away and abandoning us. If they are well then we need to be doing something different because we have failed and not given them what they need.
