Kody posted that video on TBC board last fall, and it was him. He is a regular there. And, Barney, whether you like me or not makes no difference to me, but the feeling is mutual if you thought that video was funny.

I don't dislike you, I don't like you either. I've never met you. I'm just making a point that basing your opinion of Kody on that one video, which you most likely don't know the origin of or story behind, is pretty silly. That's fine though, you can do whatever you choose. The "Oh Sh*t" moment when they about all got freighttrained was pretty darn funny though.
Personally, I enjoy hunting and have traveled to a lot of places to do it. I thought that the people in that video appeared to be pretty inexperienced and just about got what they had coming...it's a "screw with the bull, get the horns" type thing. I'm sure not gonna decide that Kody's a piece of crap because he thought it was funny too. Sure don't take much to get some peoples drawers all bunched up.
I think you were missing the point, it wasn't the lion getting killed that was funny about it, but I doubt you want to get that point.
And no, I'm not gonna sing "why can't we be friends", although I might try to find a clip of Rodney King asking us to all get along. Now THAT is funny.

jaye - As far as your comment about the video maybe you should read this comment posted regarding that hunt:
"i don't mean to break up an argument but , i saw that same video on tv a couple of months ago. the show said the reason the cat was hunted was because he had gotten in a cow pasture and had started hunting cows and calves and the rancher had called in the government to take care of this cat. the hunters drove to the location the rancher told them and found the cat and exterminated it... just not very efficiantly"
As far as I can tell the video was posted because of the near miss the hunter got from the lion. I don't believe any bad intent on Kody's part in posting this other than it being an interesting hunting video, since he likes to hunt.

Your explanation is just one of many about this video. This was a canned hunt. Even the hunters I know that viewed this video found it disgusting.
But I am not on this board to argue, so this is the last I will say on the subject.
