The PBR has announced that the 2009 schedule will be released on Friday and has started the count down on their site. Hopefully the schedule will be resonably set and there will not be any significant changes after release this year.
Any event you hope to see?
My top two are Tacoma and Grand Rapids..it would also be great to have Reno back and maybe a new Wisconsin event!

Anaheim! If they don't go there this year, then I probably won't get to see a live event. *crossing fingers*

I haven't been to an event since 2005, but I'm going to try to go to a couple in 2009. The most likely are Tulsa and Dallas, since they are in the summer months. I figure we will see both on the schedule, as well as OKC for the Challenger Finals.
On a side note, it would be cool to see an outside event or two, but I doubt we will. I always enjoyed watching the Laughlin event because it was a nice change of pace.

It's too bad they pulled away from the BFTS. I understand Pueblo will be on the schedule next year, but I think I read that it won't be at the fairgrounds. That's kinda too bad. I obsess over it (yet I never get to go to really any event outside of where I live), but I figure: if Randy and the PBR wants BIG venues for BFTS events, and some want outdoor-types, how about this....use baseball or football stadiums if nothing is scheduled at the time. I can see it working. (They used the Diamondbacks' Chase Field two years ago though they kept the roof closed.) But as you said, Cody, outdoor events are a nice change of pace, and the riders and bulls seem to prefer it too.

We had one at Texas stadium in 1995, anyone else remember that one? It sure was a muddy mess.
I don't think Nashville will happen next year based on the statements that were made. Attendance was pitiful at best. Somebody may try to do a lower level event or an amateur event there, but I doubt it's back on the BFTS.

I have attended San Antonio, Dallas and Nashville. Hope to do the same next year and add and event in OK (Challenger or Tulsa). Last year Nashville was in the summer and this year they put it on a holiday weekend, maybe that was the problem.

Kansas City--I hope the Sprint Center didn't alienate them too bad with their double booking Friday night of the weekend, and booting the PBR for a silly concert (oh, heck, Kemper is a better arena for it anyway).... And I'll try to make Omaha and Tulsa again, and maybe add St. Louis and if they come back to Des Moines.....
And hopefully, I'll have another KSDS pup by then time some of these events hit!

Anaheim and Ontario?!! I can go twice this year!!! ;D
I just hope they don't change it like they did with the Staples Center in L.A this year. But, at least I know Anaheim will go given it's history there.

Woo HOOOOO!! It looks like at least 5 events for me next year! Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, Tulsa, and Springfield, MO.... Hopefully I'll have another KSDS pup by my side old enough to attend at least the summer events! Maybe even one named after a bull rider, bull fighter, Flint--or even a bull.... It could (should) happen; they've named litters of pups after baseball teams and players, Olympic athletes, NASCAR drivers AND tracks, football teams and players, college mascots, the Royals... why NOT the PBR (really the whole sport of bull riding and other rodeo events) **sigh** If I just had an "extra" $20000 lying around the house, I could name a litter of pups myself.... Or for just $1000, I could name A puppy....

No Chicago or Grand Rapids! Way to make it tough on the cheeseheads! So we have Minneapolis, I'll just have to shop at Mall of America in the down time.
I wish the NYC event was the weekend before like last year, that will not stop me from going there anyway.
Maybe I'll wander to Missouri this coming year.

As was pointed out on the Breeders Connection board, it appears that the rumors of cutting the season to 18 events were just that, rumors. Thank goodness for that!
