Well, it seems like forever since Guilherme Marchi won the 2008 PBR World Title, but 2009 will be here before we know it. And thankfully that will bring a new PBR season for fans like myself.
As far as the PBR is concerned, what things are you looking forward to in 2009?

I'll definitely be watching a few of the top guys to see if they can keep the momentum going. Guilherme, Robson, JB, Valdiron, Renato and Reese Cates-- I'm very interested to see how their year goes. Also, since Chris Shivers had his surgery and a great finals because of it, I'm looking forward to seeing how he does next year.

It's all about the bulls for me.
I've heard a lot of talk about how Bones should not have won BBOY mainly because of his low number of outs and the fact he wasn't hauled all over the country. Personally, based on the rules for this contest, he won it, no question. I'm looking forward to see if Bones can prove his nay-sayers wrong. I think he will. I'm also waiting to see if Chicken on a Chain will continue his road back to health and become as rank as he was in 2007 and early 2008. One other bull that interests me is Crosswired. I'm hoping he'll be in contention for BBOY in 2009.

I'm looking forward to almost everything! I hope Justin McBride and J.W. join Justin McKee and Graig Hummer in the announcing booth often. I enjoy those two - J.W. cracks me up and Justin McBride has a nice way of explaining things about bull riding. Mostly, I can't wait just to see the riding, but I'm pretty happy about Chris doing well - we could sure use him doing good next year, since the other two legends have retired. I hate it when I have to wait weeks to see an event, but at least it gives the guys a chance to heal up.
