Time for us to move to the next level and we need your help. We have a lot of exciting things planned for you in 2006 and we look forward to it being another great year in the 8 Second Addiction world! With the new year we are looking to make some changes but since this is your board we need everyones help. So here it goes:
1. Effective as soon as possible we will be eliminating the title of Administrator Moderator etc. To be honest I hate the titles since this is after all your board and they are too stuffy. Since most of what we do is personal and not posting as an official representative etc we need something less formal. Now we can not eliminate a unique title for Holly and I all together as there are still maintenance tasks that we need to have linked to our profiles. So here is your chance to give us a new name (be nice we can still ban you heheheeh!). It can be as boring as Staff or a bull riding related title that is not used as a member ranking like contractor etc. Get creative! As soon as we have some ideas we will let everyone vote then change the name.
2. We will be launching a web site to go along with the board in the near future. To make it worth while though we want to know what you want to have it include. Some thoughts I have gotten so far have been a place to post pictures, a member of the month feature, links to other rodeo and bull riding related sites etc. Let us know what YOU want to see!
3. Fantasy Recognition-One of the things that we have the ability to do is to add a secondary title under your name. What we came up with is if you win a fantasy event your title will display as the Fantasy Event winner. For example Crazy4Bullriders would now display Minneapolis Fantasy Event Champion. If she won another one we would add that as well. We would also add titles proclaiming Overall champs, so Guru would get one saying 2005 8 Second World title Fantasy Winner or something to that effect. Let us know what you think of the idea.
4. We will be adding a better link to our chat room for you to all come and visit so watch for that to come soon!
5. ANYTHING else you would like to see done or that you think might be fun let us know and we will see what we can do.
If you do not feel comfortable posting your suggestions feel free to e-mail them or PM them to me. Once we get them I will combine them and present them to everyone and vote on the ones that need voting on. Remember no idea is too wild and crazy so let them fly! #Head-Spining11#
