Well, now it looks like it's been pulled off the schedule altogether.
Anyway, here's the email I got today:
"Unfortunately, due to sponsor conflicts we had to cancel the event at the Staples Center. One of their major sponsors is Dodge and our largest sponsor is Ford. This created a conflict of interest in which it was difficult for both the Staples Center and the PBR to be able to work within the best interests of their sponsors. We do hope an arrangement can be worked out in the future that will allow the PBR to come to the Staples Center."
Do you think maybe this was something they should've figured out before selling the tickets? They should've had an idea that there was some tension with the sponsors going into it. I wouldn't have put the tickets on sale until it there was an iron clad contract.
Well, it's the PBR. Doing things BEFORE something happens isn't in their vocabulary.
And now they've removed the last two TBA dates from the schedule. I'm seriously disappointed in them - they can never make up their minds about where they wanna go; it must be because of their frantic BIG city search. They really failed again.
