how much did it suck that once corey rasch gets healthy he got hurt again? he was lucky that he didnt get at hurt as bad as it could have been. he still did get hurt bad with a concussion and the broken collar bone. that must have been a view to be look up and see a bull comong down on you...
at first it didnt look like cody whitney got hurt, but then i noticed that the bulls head got him in the gut. once he got outta the arena he got off his vest and just fell down....once he caught his breath he was able to get up and walk away. it just showed him being taken off to the hospital because of abnominal pain...
i didnt see what happened to helton, hopefuly he gets better..
and i must say that mike lee and matt bohon got lucky with their hang ups....esp for matt cause he was hung up to neon nights!
well wish to the boys to get better!
also congrats to trey for winning the round!!

That was by far the scariest reck I have ever seen. He very well could have lost his life last night. If the full entire weight of that bull actually came down on his head, or if it was in a slightly differnt place. I went completly pale and almost blanched at that wreck. Im very thankful that he is actually alive, even if he didnt know where he was;o)
Cody's was very scary also, his reaction on his way out of the arena was heart wrenching.
Does anyone have an update on those two??

There seems like there were alot of injuries.
It sucks for Cory because he has been riding so well!! Maybe he will come back better than ever!

Cody Whitney looked like he was in a lot of pain. My heart fell through the floor when he left the arena and fell to the ground. I wish they would be a bit more specific on the injury report. I was hoping he would do well this year. It's not good to have this many bad injuries this early. I suppose it's good for the newcomers to shine for a bit! Like Trey Traweek, where did he come from? Good way to start your BFTS career!

I dont get how Trey was even selected to ride in the event. He hasnt made any money this year (that we know of) and there are other guys that culd have been alternates. Oh well, its nice to see somone who we havent seen much of.

It may have been one of those deals where Trey was there are nearby and one of the other guys (i.e. Paulo) was supposed to ride but got doctored out last minute. So it was too late to get an alternate by standings. I know Evan Rasch and JW Hart have gotten to ride at events when they were off tour just because they were there and another guy couldn't ride.

Was Trey hurt on that hang up? I just watched the event and I didn't hear of his injury, but if he walked away from that hangup unharmed, he has some mighty powerful guardian angels!

This weekend in Charleston was awful for injuries! It seemed like every other rider got hurt in some form or fashion. I don't remember seeing so many injuries in one weekend. But I guess it's just the sport of bull riding.
I'm not a huge fan of Cory Rasch, but I feel awful for the guy. He was healthy and starting to ride awesome. The same goes for B-Rich.
My heart goes out to all the injured riders.. I hope to see them back soon.

Man, I feel bad for Cory Rasch too, and JUST when he was healthy and riding good again....
Wow, this weekend was quite scary, wreck after horrifying wreck (injured or no). From Cory and Cody Whitney's disasters and Helton Luiz Da Silva's shoulder getting nearly crushed in round 1, to Trey Traweek's spur and Kody Lostroh's hang-ups in round 2, Mike Collins getting his spur also hung up, Josh Koschel getting slam dunked on his head, and Bryan Richardson's knockout blow, all in the short round, this was as ugly an event as I've seen on TV in a while. Cody Whitney's wreck though, not so much the wreck itself but what happened afterwards, had to be the scariest thing I saw in a while! Justin McKee said it best - this event was a warzone!
My prayers to all the guys and I hope they will all be better soon (especially Cory, Cody and Bryan).
