This just released off the pbr site: The riders who were dropped from the tour following the PBR Sacramento Invitational are Corey Navarre (Sulphur, La.), Rocky McDonald (Hachita, N.M.), Brian Herman (Victoria, Texas), Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.), Lee Akin (Weatherford, Okla.), Brendan Clark (Morpeth, NSW Australia), Allan Moraes (Sao Paulo, Brazil), and Cody Hart (Gainesville, Texas). Hart remains on the tour by virtue of his World Champion exemption status.
Some really good riders with longevity in the PBR now down to the challenger tour. OUCH.
The good new however is the fact that these guys are back or first time arrivals:
The top five athletes who will advance to the BFTS by virtue of their achievements at the Challenger Tour level are: 1. Austin Meier (Checotah, Okla.) $27,118; 2. Dustin Hall (Springfield, Mo.) $24,445; 3. Bowdy Peach (Mooreland, Okla.) $19,532; 4. Steven Shelley (Natural Dam, Ark.) $15,930; 5. Jason Bennett (Honeygrove, Texas) $14,343.
Welcome back Steven Shelley, and most of all Jason Bennett. He has worked so hard to get back and he has finnaly got here. Congrats Jason.

Yeah, I thought Corey was definitely safe, but a ride in the short-go would have sealed it for him I'm sure. It stinks for the two Weatherford, OK guys since OKC is this week. I feel for them, but hopefully they will get things right and make it back sooner rather than later.
The same goes for Brendon. I'm still waiting for him to return to his 2004 form. Ever since the Finals in 04', he has really been inconsistent.

I cant believe that all those guys are gone. Almost all of them have been on tour for so long, its sad to see them go. I hope they all get their act together and kick butt on the challenger tour so we can see them back!

well like brendon said he just got alittle comfortable. Plus being on beyond the bull and getting extra attention you know he will want to hurry back up to the big time. but it is also good to see some of the older people coming back on tour to try to make their stand.

I just thought of something, didn't Luke have a streak of like 100+ BFT events? I know it hadn't reached JW's record, but it was getting up there. I guess this cut will end that for him, that's too bad.

I think it is sad that the OKie cowboys will not be @ OkC, but there will be two new ones to watch I guess. I have wondered how Luke Snyder has stayed on so long and as sad as this is to say, I wondered how Corey Navarre stayed on. I will be in OkC, yee haw! Maybe Holly will see me in the fan club section hooping & hollering again! See ya soon Holly!

Luke and Corey are both on the draw for this weekend in OKC, so I guess they're injury replacements until some of the other guys come back.
I also noticed there are 46 riders this weekend since Cody Hart is there on his champion's exemption.

yep, you are right.....that ends Luke's streak I think with injuries and all, Luke will ride and remain in the BFTS, especially after putting together good rides in OKC. Luke stunk it up really good last year and managed to remain on the BFTS despite always being on the cut-line. That kid has a load of talent but cannot seem to tap into it for any length of time.

I am so happy that Dustin Hall made it to bfts after TN!!!He has worked very hard. Hes a hard working guy with a job to do and he does it well. I know he is gonna do great this year and I think he could win it all if he wants to! I am new to this whole thing. But, I know he has the heart and talent--and faith to get wherever he wants to go! Lets all be praying for him to continue to do well. He has a family to support too. I know with his talent, Gods blessings and our prayers he can make it to the top! Look how well it went in St. Louis! Go get em in Vegas Mr. Hall !!!
