wow i did not know that he was goign to retire...
i liked watchin him ride he is goign to be missed!!

Sure seems like alot of retirement decisions being made this year. I'm going to miss B.J. as well.

sorry to hear that BJ is retiring, but i understand his decision. with all the injuries, especially the neck, it would be really tough to feel confident that you will be ok.
i remember a few years ago in st. louis is was getting autographs, i had some of my cards with me, and i asked several of the guys if they knew if there was gong to be a new set of cards and if they would be on them, and when i asked BJ he looked up and told me-"i am too ugly for cards i guess, they haven't asked me to be on any" i really chuckled, and he just grinned. he is a great guy.
