It seems like some of the Worlds best riders are long overdue for a win this season. Guys like Justin McBride, Guilherme Marchi, and JW Hart, havent won one this year. Although all three of these guys are in the top 15, i think the rookies are keeping them on their toes (and maybe even giving them a run for their money)
I like the way the top ten looks right now, i think all the guys that are there deserve to be in the top ten. I mean the two guys that are going for the 3rd title record are only 97 points apart. This season is far from over, but unlike last year there is no clear definite winner. There are so many talented guys that could take it away, whenever they felt like it. I think this seasons winner is not going to be determined until the last possible moment.

I agree with you - it's gonna be a very exciting rest of the year if things keep going the way they have! Forget the fact that the new points system (well, not so new anymore) for the Finals will make it even more interesting....It's so close now with so many having the potential to win, the points system for the Finals will most likely bring others into position to win, too. Yep, it's gonna be an exciting year!

I'm NOT a McBride fan at all so I really won't cry or anything if he doesn't win an event this year. There are plenty of guys out there who are really good riders yet we never hear anything about them because of the McBrides of the world (in my opinion the WHOLE McBride thing is well they've beaten it to death so why can't they just let the dead lie?). I mean Austin Mier was SO close to an event win in Phoenix but then Chris Shivers kicke Smokeless Wardance's hindend.
Granted there are some veteran's I'm NOT tired of hearing about...J-Dub, Roscoe, Guilherme (who else do they really mention? They're always talking about Shivers, McBride, and Moraes I think that there are some other guys out there too!) But constantly hearing about Shivers and Moraes and McBride is starting to make me not like them and I REALLY don't like McBride already so they should just keep it up and they're gonna get some not so fan mail as my friend would say!

Seriously they hardly ever mentioned Sean Willingham until this weekend when he won the event....I think that the announcers have there "golden boys" and are too worried about them to care about anyone else really.

They do mention Travis ALOT but I think it's cause he's making history. I DO think that they have beat the whole McBride thing to death though. That's so last season that they need to move on.

I think the fact that the young guys are taking names and kicking butt is a good thing. I don't wanna be rude or anything but I am SO sick of hearing about McBride, and to be honest Chris Shivers is starting to annoy me too (he's a great bull rider they just TALK about him constantly and that's the really annoying part cause they keep saying stuff that we ALREADY know!). Like incredibleroscoe said....there is some not so fan mail headed in the commentators direction.

I think that Shivers and Moraes are mentioned so much right now, just because they are both competeing for record..and both of them have a chance to claim it. I agree that we hear about McBride way too much, i know that he won the world title last year, but Mike Lee did 2 years ago and we didnt hear about him that much last year. Im not a big fan of the really new people on tour, like i think ive said before im not one for change. I like the old guys that have been bumped down. But i also like how the bfts gives everybody a chance to make it on to the tour. I think that the commentators dont metion the new guys as much, because they dont know much about them. Guys like shivers, mcbride, and moraes have been on tour so long that i think all the commentator know them inside and out. Give it time it think we will be hearing more about the new guys soon enough.

JW Hart hasn't won an event since I've been watching the PBR (with the exception of the CT Finals in 2004), and I really don't see him winning one for quite some time. He is going the other direction right now and will be below 20th before long. Someone who is well OVERDUE for a win is Wiley Peterson. I don't believe he has won a BFTS event since I've been watching the PBR either. He is such a great rider, but he is slumping big time. It doesn't shock me to not see people putting his name in this topic. Everyone overlooks Wiley, except me.

Now that i think of it Wiley hasnt won in a while, and its too bad too! though he was one of the last people to ride 100% of his bulls this season. And wasnt he #2 early on this season. I like Wiley alot, he just seems like a really nice guy, i would love to see him win an event this year too!
