As we know, 96.5 is currently the highest score in BFTS history, and I thought I'd ask which of these looked the best in your opinion.
For me, it's a toss-up (between the first three), but I have to pick Bubba Dunn because he looked to be in perfect form throughout, definitely performed, it looked awesome.
Feel free to post along with your choices, too.

I voted for G-man on LYJ. It's a hard decision, since I thought that Bubba's ride on Promise Land was also excellant. I guess because Gaffney's ride is more recent in my memory, that could have something to do with it being #1 over Bubba's in my mind.

My opinion is that Michael Gaffneys ride on lyj was no where near 96.5 and if it was then Bubba and Chris's rides should be 105 points (i know thats not possible but thtas how much better they were) lyj's name got him the 96.5 points not his ability...dont get me wrong it was a good ride but not a 96.5. Its a toss-up between Bubba and Chris but I think I will go with Bubba bc he spurred him in the neck just about every jump since he turned his head to come around...and away from your hand...that is somehting special

The trip LYJ had with Michael at the finals later in the year was MUCH better. The ride in Nampa was nice, but LYJ was nothing special on that trip.

Well it's not a 96.5 but Gilbert Carrillo on Blueberry Wine for 96 points or his 96.5 on Perfect Storm. But if I must pick on of the 4 above my pick is Bubba Dunn on Promised Land

Well, first off, I agree with CSB that Gaffney's ride at the 2004 Finals was better than his ride in Nampa. That one was closer to 96.5 than the first one. However, neither one of them was any better than Chris Shivers on Wardance from earlier this season. As for my opinion, I would go with Shivers on Jim Jam. That was the best overall ride out of the entire group. As much as I try, I just can't see Bubba Dunn's ride on Promiseland as anything worthy of 96.5. I've watched it 20 times probably, and I just can't see it. Don't get me wrong, it was a great ride.....just not as good as some of the others. I'm with justapbrfan on this one though. I thought Gilbert's ride on Blueberry Wine was the best ride in PBR history. Maybe it's because I'm a huge BW fan, but that ride was just electricity personified. And I'm in no way a Carrillo fan. But that ride makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Michael Gaffney on Little Yellow Jacket has to be one of the best rides in PBR. Well, I think so anyways.

I went with the G-man on LYJ. I thought it was a good ride. All of them are hard to pick though. I like all of 'em. God Bless
