Hear the sleigh bells ringing? It was Christmas in March for Chris Shivers! There was absolutely no reason at all to give him a reride option. I guess when a bull turns its head, that meets the criteria for a reride?

Yeah that was one of the worst decisions Ive ever seen. I guess now when a bull comes out of the bucking chute you get a reride?

I am still trying to figure out the rules of bull riding and the criteria for a re-ride, and even I know that wasn't re-ride worthy!!! For the rider to be rewarded a reride, do multiple judges have to agree?

Reasons for a reride option:
Bull falls, rider jumps off (declares himself) Bull hips himself coming out of the chute, rider declares himself Bull fouls rider coming out of chute, rider declares himself Bull stops for a second or more Bull stumbles to where both front knees touch the ground Bull just doesnt buck
Multiple judges dont have to agree on a call. Atleast thats how it was. Things might be different with the four judge system.

The reason Chris got a re-ride was because the bulls back legs came out from underneath him and chris declared himself and therfore was given a reride. Micheal Gaffney called that before anybody else did. So i believe if the gman saw it and called it then the judges got it right.

1. The bull didnt stumble. He studder-stepped one way, and then went the other. The replay from the chute cam clearly showed it.
2. Chris didnt declare himself, because there was no foul. Chris bucked off.

No disrespect but, I put more into Micheal Gaffney's opinion than yours. I know you rode and you allegedly know what your talking about but this time you have a pro, a world champion, and now commentator saying your wrong so i guess i will go with the GMAN.
this is all subject to opinions. If people like him they share my Opinion if they are Shivers Haters then they will agree with you. The bull stumbled he declared and got the re-ride. I guess that is all that matters. HE GOT THE RE-RIDE. i BELIEVE IT IS OVER. A new day has come.

Haha. Todd, your ignorance never ceases to amaze me. "Chris Shivers Hater"? Nah, I dont hate Chris. I just hate bullshhit calls that have no justification whatsoever.

Apparently, the judges and the announcers did not agree with you either. It wasnt my ignorance or wait it might have been along with the ignorance of Micheal Gaffney, Justin Mckee, and the 2 judges. It is over he did not ride and this thread is stupid. Once again you are picking on a PBR guy and praising the PRCA with your Colby Yates take. If you dont like the PBR then why watch. Do you watch to just criticize?

Good GOD, you are acting like 2 year olds! If you don't want to read the posts, DON'T! Don't sit here and crab that this is a stupid thread. That's why we can see the titles of the different threads and you don't have to go into the ones you don't want to.

With all due respect to everyone involved, it shouldn't have been a reride. If that should have been a reride, then just about every buckoff whould warrant a reride. I thought it was pretty shady at best. I'm honestly glad he bucked off his reride bull because he didn't deserve to get a score in the second round. It's just more of the Shivers/Moraes drama we get treated to every week. Both of them better watch out for Mike Lee because he could very well be the 2006 World Champ.

Cody, You are right about the drama of shivers and moraes, you are right about Mike Lee, but i have to disagree with you on the re-ride aspect. I will leave it at that i have explained enough atop. So he got bucked off and did not score, he will come back tonight with a vengence and win the event.

Do you watch to just criticize? LOL. Colby isnt a PRCA guy anymore. And maybe you should read this thread one more time. There isnt any mention of Colby. You have been banned from this forum twice before. Do you just come back to start more crap? Why cant you go be king of the Rodeo Attitude forum? What about ProBullStats? They sure seemed to love your expertise in armchair bullriding over there. If you would have told them that you were a hasbeen steer tripper, they might have been a little easier on you.
