There are, in fact, several guys who use these rowels. I don't have a list and Jody's not here for me to ask, but I know that Steven Shelly and Ross Johnson used them in the past and probably still do now. Who knows with this new "exemption for PBR endorced spurs."
All the drama is driving me crazy. I've tried to stay off the boards as much as possible so that I'm not constantly sitting at my computer all day trying to defend Jody's honor. Thankfully I don't have to do that here. Like I said earlier, it feels like home. Thanks guys!
God bless, Amanda

Here are the Paddle Rowels, the kind Jody uses: Here are typical rowels:

CSB, Several of the "typical" rowels you showed are bronc rowels. The two pairs toward the bottom are bull rowels. There are three different style of rowels that are "approved" (so long as they are not tampered with), one of them is similar to a paddle wheel.

I know, but I didnt knowhow to cut them out of the picture.

Cody B., you are right. Jody is definitely a target and will be called more for this than anyone else. That's where things are completely backwards and messed up. If the judge would have had a clean view, I would have respected his decision. But he had no better view of it than we did at home, and he made the call. Honestly, and this is sad to say, but it could definitely change the outcome of the World Championship race. Those points are so vital, and Jody was treated very unfairly. I really can't talk about it much without getting ticked, so I'll leave it alone for another few days. I have to pace myself.

I have rode with the paddle wheels before and I believe it is easier to catch a knot with those but if you are tryin to but I now use the rowels shown at the very bottom of that picture that cody put up there and i have caught more accidental knots with those than I did with the paddle wheels...but I dont believe that is the argument; its whether or not it is even possible for him to catch a knot. I dont believe he did it but what good does my opinion do.

Custer: ‘....... “Instead of changing his rowels and learning to ride the right way like everybody else does, he went from one gimmick to another,’’ Custer said. Well, that sure won't make the good Mr. Custer any friends.
