This is a picture that was on www.PBRnow.com this morning taken from the Albuquerque event. I don't think the bullfighters get enough credit, this shows that they do some pretty amazing stuff!

i really admire the bullfighters for what they do. there isn't enough money in the world to do that. however, did anyone else hear what Jo said the other night? i thought i would fall off my couch. my husband was in the other room and asked "he called that bull what?"

mu sister and i both heard, and she ran it back in replay about 4 times to be sure. he called that bull a "stupid (and it rhymes with bucker" i thought the announcers did a great job of just keep announcing, but you could tell they were having a hard time not cracking up. Joe was really quiet on that mic after that.

I've heard a few of the "7 Words You Can't Say on TV" during the live broadcasts--from the bull riders as well as the bullfighters.... I think it was in Mexico when McBride (who is well-known for using colorful rowdy cowboy lingo ) said "SH!T" after bucking off, then he realized the camera was on him. He kinda laughed and said, "this is live, isn't it?" And Adriano was mad at an event toward the end of last season about something SOMEONE said to him after a buck-off, and Leah and the camera guy followed him as he pretty much ran across the back area, ignoring her calls, of "Adriano, Adriano".... I was yelling at the TV, "HEY DINGDONG! This probably isn't the time for an interview! let him calm down!" Anyway, they still had the camera on him, and he was talking to (I believe) the Back Judge, saying something like, "I don't care if they fine my azz; I punch his f-in' face." Of course, in his case, his accent was so thick because he was so angry, it took a couple DVR rewinds to verify that he did drop the f-bomb (I think actually twice)....

It's a bullfighter that got me into this mess I saw Rob Smets being interviewed several years ago and realized this guy was nuts and everyone who did what he does is nuts. I had to watch more. I caught an event on TV and that was that. I was hooked.
