He's listed as "Injured" on the PBR's website under his status.
Can anyone find on their site that is does mention his suspension?

Two thumbs up to the PBR board of directors for making a very tough call. in my opinion a years suspension is an appropriate punishment for the infraction. I think Ty Murray summed it up great in the press release:
"Other sports have let their players get out of control," said Ty Murray, President of the PBR. "We're not going tolerate that kind of behavior in professional bull riding. Right or wrong it's the official's job to make those calls and whether you agree or disagree there's no room for unsportsmanlike conduct."

Great. Glad to see him gone for a year due to his actions. I was thinking: 12 months from now is more than half-way into next season (assuming that EO actually returns to PBR Class Competition). So if he starts in again with only a 1/3rd of the yearly events remaining, he has zero chances of having enough points to win the year. So his punishment is really a two year sentence the way I look at it! Now what about AM smacking Frank ? Rich

I think the suspension is fair. In any other sport the rules are that you never" lay your hands " on an official, so why should bull riding be any different. Even if the riders do not agree with what the judges rule, the riders need to respect their decisions or pay the price.

I think it's totally fair. If you fine him $1,000 and let him ride in the next event, he'll get his money back soon enough. Does that mean he is suspended from the PBR or just the BFTS?

I think he is suspended for all PBR associated events (Challenger,Enterprise,Discovery Tours). I thought I read somewhere that he plans on riding in the PRCA and other bullriding events (CBA,Extreme Bullriding etc.).

I think that a year is more than fair. The PBR has shown everyone that this type of behavior will not be tolerated, and I personally give a thumbs up to the board, as seeing this to be more serious than a fine, that as someone else mentioned he will win back in just a short amount of time.

I disagree with the whole 1 year thing. Granted what he did was wrong and he is being punished for it but I think a year is too harsh! Suspend him the rest of the season and make him start at the lower ranks and earn his way back seems more appropriate to me but what do I know I'm just a fan! Just seems to me that there are some serious shall we say favoritism problems in the PBR right now!

BOO HOO HOO..........Poor little edgard got a years suspension....BOO HOO HOO !!!!! I think he got off pretty easy !!! As far as Im concerned..he should be permanetly booted off tour !!! Again, these guys are "SUPPOSED" to be role models for our younger generation.....What an example....yeah yeah we all make mistakes.....hookin your spurs, swearin are mistakes...shoving an official is just assinying. They are in the public eye, if they do not want to be there...well...go home or somewhere else, its all part of being in the "BIG TIME". Take it or leave it.!!! And that goes for anyone of them, just not the Brazillians. Bullriding/Rodeo has a hard enough time trying to survive with all the animail rights activist out there, this is something else we DONT need. Alot of you commenting that is was to harsh, never done this for a living, and those of you for it, seems most of you are involved in the sport, not just as a fan. What does that tell you??? Thats my opinion......

Well 1 year means that he'll definitly learn his lesson. The fact that he would even do that i think he should be booted off the tour. I think its well known that shoving a judge is a huge mistake, and im glad hes paying the penalty
