I just read on the PBR site:
"Brian Herman is out with a broken neck (right 7th cervical vertebral facet joint fracture dislocation). He has undergone surgery to fuse C6-7 and will be out for 3 months."
When did this happen?

i saw him at the finals, he sure looked like he was not comfortable. hope the surgery goes well for him

i heard it was at a challenger event a while back, he launched off and landed on his head

I heard the same thing. It happened at a Challenger event. Apparently after the Challenger event he headed off to a BFTS ready to ride, but after (I guess he was complaining that his neck was hurting) Dr. Tandy Freeman looked at it and told him it was broken he had to pull out at the last minute, even though he was at the venue for the BFTS event already. At least that's what I remember.

They interviewed him at one of the BFTS events a month or so ago (maybe Columbus), and he had his neck brace on.

He broke it the week before Columbus. He was on his way or in Columbus when he got the call from Tandy. Cody you are right, they interviewed him in Columbus.
We talked to him in Vegas and he is doing good. He had his neck brace on most of the time but was in good spirits and hanging out at the afterparty!
