I'm surprised no one's mentioned this yet - I read somewhere (I think his website) that he had injured his shoulder at the PBR Finals (which I really had no idea about) and will need surgery. I read that he'd be out 6 months or something like that afterwards. Wow, this sucks! L.J.'s had so many injuries this season (and really couldn't turn things on until the Finals) and after finishing in, what, 7th place, I figured he'd be on a tear in '07, then I hear about this. Not to say he won't do some good when he returns but I am really sorry to hear about this. I wish L.J. a speedy recovery. Let's all pray for one.

That's aweful news for L.J... he really got on a role at the finals, and i was looking forward to seeing him ride in '07.
My prayers go out to L.J. for a quick recovery.

He already had the surgery.... I believe he had it on Nov. 28th. He is a tough kid.. bet he won't be out the whole 6 months!

I knew he was in pain after the finals but I didn't catch the surgery news. Was it his free arm or riding?

He won an event in TX right after finals and that is where he was injured and they decided that surgery was needed.
