Maybe this time he won't come back to early like he did last season? He came back from injury for Chicago made it through one round unscathed and then re-injured himself the second round...He needs to put himself and his health first. JMHO

It says he'll be out for 3 to 6 months with a kidney laceration sustained in NY.
This is awful, this poor guy has so much talent and only if he could stay health for at least one season. Thats puts us well into the 2007 season when he'll come back at the minimum of 3 months. I was hoping this season he'd turn his luck around too.

I love Cory Rasch and I hate that bull for going after him and spearing him in the kidney. I wish they would cut the horns off all the bulls.

it is all part of the sport to have bulls come back after you. you cant hate the bull for doing something that he would normally do out in the fields to predators, other bulls and people too. i have been run over/flipped though the air/slammed into a fence by bulls. i do not hate the bull for doing it when i was in his territory, i was just more careful next time. the riders know this is part of the game. if you hate that bull, then you are going to have to hate every bull out there. probly 99% of bulls have at one time or another gone after someone. also he was not speared in the kidney. the way he was hit/how he hit the fence is what did it to him. it is part of the sport to get hurt. i think it is a quote from tandy about how not if you get hurt, but when and how bad. Cory is someone that is more accident prone than other guys it seems like. and to get rid of all the horns i think would be stupid. muley bulls are just as big of a threat as horned bulls. it is just a different type of injury that is going to occur from getting slammed with a head then getting hooked with a horn.

Well EXCUSE ME Dairymary!! I didn't mean to get your panties in such a bundle!! LOL! Of course I don't actually hate the bull. I was just venting my frustration because I love Cory Rasch. I love the PBR bulls. Sorry I upset you.

Sistersue - I don't think Mary is mad at you I think she was just trying to say that the bull coming after you is all part of the game and the riders are ok with it. They're dealing with very large very unpredictable animals, accidents happen and in this case as usual Cory was the victim. Maybe we need to all pray a little harder for Cory and he'll have a better rest of the season when he comes back.

its just sad cause the guy has soooo much talent, and if he stayed healthy through one season there is no doubt in my mind that he's be in contention for the world title. Hopefully he'll heal quickly and start back where he left off.

I wish they would cut the horns off all the bulls. More people get hurt every year by hooves rather then horns! I have been hooked and rolled all over the place the worst I got out of being hooked was some bruises! Now from being either kicked or stepped on just a few of the injuries: concussion's lacerated liver collapsed lung broken nose dislocated shoulders those are just a few of the mishaps. Corey Rasch is injury prone cause he tries his gut's out. Guy's that try really hard are very prone to ending up underneath a bull cause they hold on till the bitter end!
