Riding For a Cause, 8 Seconds At a Time!
The Tony Mendes that all of his fans love and addore reminds us of why he has capture the respect of so many fans nation and world wide . Yes the same Tony Mendes that after every bull ride tells the camera how much he loves his family has stole our hearts once again with his latest comitment to a cause that has effected so many womens lives.
Tony will be riding for breast cancer in the 2008 season. In result to this you will be noticing changes on Tony's appearance on screen. His chaps will be sporting a flashy pink and black look with the breast cancer ribbon on each leg. His plan is to wear these chaps to five televised events then autograph them and auction them off. All proceeds will go to breast cancer research. Every pair of chaps will be designed a different way making none of them the same. Therefore they will be limited addition chaps that will be up for purchase. Along with this he is planning to donated a percentage that he gets from all sponsors back to breast cancer awareness. Also Tony has decided to let his fans get an oppertunity to nominate yourself or a loved one that has been diagnosed with breast cancer to have their name put on the riding glove of Tony. This will be determined by a random draw.
After the event the glove will be either mailed to the breast cancer patients or mailed to the families of lost loved ones due to breast cancer. We leave the choice to you. A new name will be selected for every event.
