Well, Holly and I only get GAC, which still ticks me off. CMT always has cool things dealing with the PBR, and we always get to miss em'. Needless to say, I won't be tuning in because I can't. We will, however, be watching Beyond the Bull next week on TLC. Holly already put the TiVo reminder in.

I guess you all probably know this already but the Cowboy U was filmed at the Flying W Guest Ranch at Sayre, OK. (actually at Berlin) If you ever want to go they have a restaurant there and you can rent bunks etc. The chicken fry is huge, 2 people can barely eat it! It is a nice place. It can be rented for family reunions etc, nice gift shop, restaurant, very nice. I watched Cowboy U tonight, I found it very funny, but then again I live in the country and we just have do some "getting dirty" to make money. The contestants cracked me up. Flying U Guest Ranch, Sayre, OK The man that ran Whinery's off airport parking in OkC near the airport put the ranch in for entertainment purposes about a year or so ago. Julie www.flyingwonline.comIt is very packed at the restaurant on Friday & Sat nights so if you go go around 6:00ish or so.

I was raised in Sayre & my mom still lives there, I don't live far.
I wanted to tell you (in case some crazy reason you were thinking of going there to eat)
the name of the restaurant is "sassy's" I noticed it was not mentioned on the website, it is NOT A chuckwagon, which is what they show.
Kinda neat to be in the middle of nowhere.

I love cowboy U most of the time. You can always pick out the whiners and the winners at the begining of the season. These people have no clue what the real cowboy/girl world is about and they are only getting a very small taste. Makes great tV though #bananarider#

Whiners and winners..........looked to me like there were mostly whiners in this first episode!! Watching this show is like watching a train-wreck - you really don't WANNA watch it but you just can't seem NOT to!! However, hearing Rocco say "you're gonna die!" for the first time this year was music to my ears! Having lived the farm life for most of my years, it's just really hard to fathom the ineptitude of most of these people. I really wonder when they sign up to be on this show if they truly don't have a clue what they're getting into!
Anthony is my pick for winner this year. Even though he packs a fair amount of excess weight on him, in this first episode, he displayed a great attitude and a willingness to try. If he keeps that outlook, his weight will not be as big of a factor as it could were he not to cowboy up.
I'm basically disgusted with ALL the women (bunch of whiners). They give us of the female gender a bad name!!
It'll be interesting to watch this year - no doubt about it!

Yep, he is my pick too. For the amount of exsess he has he sure has some balance.
