I've enjoyed the fact that Haber has been absent. When he first started PBR broadcasts he definitely had a "superior" air about him and some of his comments came across as insulting to the sport, riders and all involved. He has improved, but he's still not my favorite announcer. He talks too much and still seems arrogant at times. He's an Emmy award winner, so you can't fault him on talent and qualifications, IMO he's just not the type to be commentating on bull riding. And Tava, so far, has struck me as phony and acting like she's on a modeling assignment, not broadcasting.

Who is the new doctor chick with the concho's and pageboy haircut that is constantly mooning the camera everytime a rider goes down? Maybe she came from NFR since she sports a Gold Coast jersey. When Cory Rasch got stepped on in Charleston the camera man zoomed in more on her butt than the rider. Cowboy4443

Did you notice that they are trying to make McKee sound like Haber now It was sounding so great without Haber there, but I think OLN is trying to get him in there through McKee.... Tava, I was thinking she was starting to fit in....but todays broadcast was awful. CONGRATS to Chris Shivers on the BIG win and being the monies earning rodeo cowboy on the face of the planit!!!!! #bananarider#

I used to really, greatly dislike Haber, until I met him. Now, I have quite a bit of respect for him. He really does like bullriding and he does admit that he doesn't know everything. As far as him putting a hat on, we asked him why he doesn't wear a hat and he said, "I am not a cowboy and do not claim to be one. I think it would be insulting to the real cowboys for me to be wearing one." Karen maybe if he throws on a hat..or gets better jokes, I hate when he jumps in all the d**n time....... I like Tava, she is definitly holdin her own,if only she can shake the nerves. I wonder if she isnt sure of the questions she is askin...

Yeah, I think he's better now too. Sure, we might've needed a break for a bit (good to see Justin McKee back in the front seat for this one event, and also great to hear from Jerome Davis again), but he's way better than he used to be. If anything, I think he's even wittier than before, and while some may not agree, actually makes things a bit more interesting. Especially in Worcester: his reaction to Michael Gaffney's saying to not take a re-ride was classic ("I'll have to go outside and see if there's a blue moon, or if hell froze over, because Michael Gaffney said to not take a reride!"). Though it was kinda different to see McKee doing the main announcing again this week, it was a great thing to see and I wouldn't be bothered if he did it again.
These next few events will be doubleheaders, though, and some of them will also be on NBC, so I'm sure Haber will be absent for these events (and no, it's not because the Redskins lost, though he may be disappointed in that too). I'm thinking Kenny Rice will step back in for a good while before Haber returns. (And don't forget Ty Murray also stepping into the booth, I'm sure. Unfortunately we may have to see Donna Brothers, and I wish we didn't have to, because I think I'm beginning to sorta like Tava Smiley too, though she's no Leah Garcia either - hey, Leah was awesome but in turn, she was no Pam Minick, and Pam was no....o wait, end of the line. lol) So I think we may have a few different things to say on telecasts for the next few weeks at least.
