Have you all noticed the crappy air-time schedule for the upcoming events? This weekend, the air times are 6:30 pm and 10 pm (Eastern). (I'm assuming the first round is the 6:30 time and the 2nd and short-go are the 10:00 airing.) And if you look further down the schedule, starting with the Nampa event, air time will be 3 am. I guess we'll all have our TIVOs or VCRs rolling. This is really crappy. Wonder who's brainchild this is?!?!?

Man, that's terrible. I don't have Tivo and our VCR on the tv we get Versus on is dead. The 6:30 and 10 pm ones will be manageable I guess, but I'm going to have to just miss the one at 3 am.
Those times are pretty rediculous.

okay... those times kinda stink. Wait- so they are playing the entire event on sat. at 6:30 and then the second round and short-go at 10:00 and then they'll show the second round and short-go again on sun. @ 6:30?? okay...

I read on the fried twinkies board its because of NHL..... maybe that's the reason but it still don't make it right. i also saw on fried twinkies (prolly the same post) that VS did this last year, too. somehow i don't remember having to watch events at 3 a.m. whatever. they're gonna do what they want to do with not much regard to the fans, even though according to r. bernard "the fans are a very important part of the PBR"....

Well here is some incentive to tune in...or at least not skip all the commercials if you tape it. One of the main sponsors will be debuting a new commercial with a lot of the riders in it. It is a great spot so watch for it!

The PBR doesn't set the tv schedule so it's kind of pointless to point the finger at Randy Bernard and the PBR. You know, I really wish you all wouldn't take some of these things so personal. I know it might be an inconvience but I bet that they aren't trying to punish you or make your life difficult. I'm sure the PBR probably isn't happy about their events having to be aired at such weird times. But life isn't always like you want it.

No, I don't imagine that the PBR does set the TV schedule but I would HOPE they have some say in where's it's placed in the VS schedule. After all, how in the world would they expect to keep and gain more fans by having events showing at 3 a.m.?? And isn't that one of the top priorities of the organization right now - gaining more fans? Growing the sport?
Yes, it IS an inconvenience to me, and a lot of other avid fans. I look forward to Saturday & Sunday nights when bullriding is on. There sure as heck ain't anything else worth watching during that same time slot.
And I can b*tch if I want to when I'm unhappy, same as I'll compliment the PBR or VS when they do something that pleases me.

I have to say, that was probably one of the worst broadcasts i've seen on Versus. It was like watching it NBC. I couoldn't figure out why they had to start late for the first round when it wasn't even live... And because it was only a hour and a half broadcast, they didn't show most of the rides. I don't understand though, why they have to spend so much time talking and interviewing. I would rather be watching the rides than listening to them talk, but maybe that's just me.

What would have been nice all the way around was a full length broadcast that was rebroadcast at whatever hour they could get it in. I would have either stayed up or taped it myself. As is, I'm glad I got to see what I got to see, and earlier in the day on ESPN, I watched the tail end of the PRCA Xtreme bullriding event. Two in one day. Bonus.

(I'd like to think that our complaining has something to do with it but I have my doubts...)
Pay close attention to the tv schedule if you don't want to miss any events. Just looked at it and the dates that had been scheduled to air at 3 am now are listed as "TBD".
Apparently, this is an ever-evolving schedule...

3am? Hmm, if VS is moving and dumping the PBR into odd time slots for the sake of hockey, maybe PBR viewership IS declining after all?

Can someone clarify just what time the Nampa event will be on tv? Is it really 3 AM in the morning?
