Now that we're a couple episodes into this show, let's get some comments on it. Love it? Hate it? Who's gonna win it? Who's gonna die trying?
Personally, I found the first episode to be pretty boring and most of the "celebrities" weren't anyone I was interested in watching ('cept maybe the Baldwin brother). I wasn't going to watch future episodes but found myself drawn to it - kinda like when you pass an accident: you don't wanna look, but you do anyhow. I found the whole thing with Jewel strumming her guitar and singing to be kinda hokey, but that could just be because I'm not a fan of her music. I also couldn't see what that had to do with the bullriding, but I guess when you're Ty's girlfriend, you get to be in his show.
However, the most recent episode convinced me to hang around for the rest of them. The contestents appear to be turning things up a notch in the try department. The bulls are getting better, too, so I expect more intense moments and some (hopefully) good efforts on the behalf of the contestants.
My gut choice to win it all (if he can stay healthy): Josh Haynes. He appears to have the drive, the ability and the desire.
My heart choice would be Jonny Dalton. I have to admit I really disliked Jonny at the start, but the little red-headed guy is starting to earn my respect because, even though he seems like he's scared to death, he also appears to be trying his heart out.

This guy drives me batty, but I gotta admit he sure does try his heart out.
My first pick was Stephen Baldwin and well you saw how that went hehe. Josh Haynes is my current pick provided he doesn't get hurt. He seems to take it a lot more serious than any of the other guys.

I like the show.
I was just discussing this yesterday with my family about who their picks out of the celebrities were to win. They all said they didn't know. :/ I named three, Josh Haynes for seeming to be more mentally apt to succeed, "Rocket" (sorry forgot his real name) for being the most physically apt; and of course Jonny Dalton as my "underdog pick". Anyway, those were my three picks....I'd put the most money on Josh Haynes though.

I like the show as well. I hope Vanilla Ice wins, I'm hoping he will anyways... I liked the cookout they had where both Jewel and Vanilla Ice sang... Classic moment!

I know who wins I know who wins!!! And it was a funny way of ridin too....I still crack up thinkin about it lol. If only they woulda had Kody on the show...What'd yall think about Leif quittin? I said hey! no matter how old I was if I'd had the chance to go to Ty Murray's place and learn from soome of the best out there....I'd sure as heck be cowgirlin up and doin whatever they said. He knew he was old in the first place he shoulda said no so they could pick someone else. I woulda loved to see Luke Perry on it but...I definantly love it although I don't get to see it the night it airs on Fridays because I'm at football games or the barn. Oh well though...I know they'll play it that whole next week.

I know who wins too.... and I completely agree. it was great being their to see the celebs ride in Nashville. It was so funny watching that ride. I like the show. I think Leaf Garret is an idiot for giving up so quickly cause he had a sore back. I would love to have a chance to learn how to ride from Ty. Over all I think it is a graet show. I like the fact that all the celbs were thinking they were not going to be riding the tough bulls and the look on their faces when Ty starts bringing out the tougher bulls

Please do send a PM, rather than posting who won here. Don't spoil it for the rest of us who prefer not to know until they show that episode!
Thanks!

Well, the last episode has aired and we all know who won by now. I have to admit that I'm really glad I hung in there and continued to watch. Even though I was disappointed in that there were no stellar rides in Nashville, I think all the "celebrities" who stuck it out are to be commended. They all learned a little bit about themselves, something I'm sure that they probably never knew they had. And all of them (especially Jonny) walked away from the experience a better person because of it. None of them had my respect in the beginning but by the end, they ALL earned it.
I would love to see another celebrity bull riding challenge; however this time, I'd really like to see the contestants have a longer training period with a little more time to get things right. It would be fun to see just how far Ty (or whomever) could bring the average person. Maybe a non-celebrity bull riding challenge? Do something more along the line of "Cowboy U", but with participants that have a real clue about what they're getting into!

did you see "jony fairplay" at the last event? he even had a cowboy hat on this time. "playing" cowboy to empress the women just doesn't do it in my book.
