This from a PRCA release. I hope it means more timely telecasts on ESPN:
In other business, the Board accepted a proposal by Winnercomm Sports out of Tulsa, Okla., to buy the licensing rights for the next three years for the Division 1 Xtreme Bulls Tour. The new agreement relieves the PRCA of any financial responsibility while ensuring that the Tour will run under PRCA rules, all the while generating income for the Association.
The terms of the agreement would generate an average of $500,000 annually for the Association each of the next three years. This agreement will still allow Lazy E Productions and those PRCA Rodeo Committees that elect to have stand-alone bull ridings the option to continue hosting such events with PRCA contestant involvement, with 10 of the events being televised on the ESPN networks. The PRCA will continue to sanction the Division 2 and 3 Xtreme Bulls events with all financial responsibility falling on the host rodeo committees.

Thanks for the information. I had heard that they were talking to Wimmercomm a week or two ago. I think that it will be an excellent move. In addition to the sports production stuff they do they have an excellent marketing/branding/imaging reputation. This is actually how I knew them first. This may bring the marketing and fan information piece that has been missing. The PBR saw dramatic growth after partnering with a marketing firm and this move positions the Xtreme Bulls well. What should be interesting to see is how this will impact the Xtreme bulls Bullnanza partnership. I forsee Wimmercomm looking for a strong rodeo partnership with someone as they are looking at it as more of a corporate venture and are not interested in getting into the rodeo business. What will be interesting to see is how it will impact the money going into the riders pockets at the end of the day.
