I honestly thought Smokeless Wardance was better than Pandora's Box all the way through. I think they both had the same number of outings as well.
Then again, Smokeless Wardance did wear down a little on the Challenger Tour and Enterprise Tour over the summer, and a lot of the riders probably saw those performances as well. So I guess it's understandable in that regard. However, as for BFTS performance, Smokeless Wardance was definitely a top-fiver.
I have no beef with Mossy Oak Mudslinger making the list. He was great every time out. I'm still sticking with my guns and picking Big Bucks, however, with Dr. Proctor coming in second.

I've heard quite a few rumors that Mudslinger will be bull of the year. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything?

I was thinking that Mudslinger may be BOTY just because he is a great bull to get on and the riders are usually in the 90's whenever they ride him, if they do stay on. I think he is one of the top favorite bulls that all the riders like (and one of my favorites as well). I know that they are going to retire him after the finals and that may be why talk is being circulated about him being BOTY. I think any of the above mentioned is a great choice for BOTY, even though Pandoras Box is crazy....LOL.

I definitly thought that Smokeless would be in there...thats disappointing. Well in that case it think Mossy Oak Mudslinger, just cause he deserves it the most out of those five. My second choice would be pandoras box..that bull is amazing.

And how about that, Mudslinger and Pandora's Box both got covered last night, neither of them having their best trips IMO. I wonder where this will put them in the race?
But boy, the other three candidates showed us why they are candidates last night!

Homeslice... last night doesn't matter... BOTY is already decided (they vote after Columbus) and I think is supposed to be announced tonight.

Cody Lambert said it best. "If Mossy Oak Mudslinger wins BOTY, the riders were thinking with their hearts instead of their heads."
I couldn't agree more. Mudslinger deserved to be in the running, but he didn't deserve to win it. Big Bucks and Dr. Proctor were definitely better bulls all year long.
Also, why isn't bull of the year announced after The World Finals? The riders have to fight it out until the very last ride, and I think the bulls should have to as well. The bulls' performances on the biggest stage of the season should have a say in how the voting goes. That's just my thought on the subject.
