Dustin Elliott won the Reno Rodeo with a 91-point ride on Western Rodeo's Red One.
Matt Austin was second with a 91 on the previously unridden Black Smoke. I'd love to see those two trips side by side as they were identical bulls and identical rides.
The saddest part of the short round was that Jake Wade rode Tahonta for 77 points. It was a pathetic trip for a previously great bull and the third straight trip he's been covered. I hope they retire him.
Zack Oakes finished fourth with an 85 on Carissa Plains that should have been higher. It was a really good ride.
Reindeer went back to his standard trip (impossible corner to the right) and bucked off Cord McCoy in about 2 seconds. At least Cord wasn't hurt since he's just coming off a major injury.
Werewolf, Keller Special, Rough N Ready and Spotted jacket all bucked off their riders. Werewolf had a great trip, bucking off Will Ferrell.
All in all it was a great show, except for Tahonta's trip.

Yep, its time to retire him. I think those two injuries last year and the fact that he is so big are making it hard for him to buck like he used to. Its a shame because he isnt all that old.
