It is the count of events that they have made an official entry. In the PRCA they can enter as many rodeos as they wish but can only count a certain number, depending on the event they compete in, toward the championship points. For bull riders it is 125 events. For example Matt Austin has 48 events that he has made official and have counted Dustin 37 so Dustin can make 11 more summer events official then Matt can.
It would be like the PBR guys being able to go to 30 BFTS events but having to pick only 25 to count toward the championship point total and having to tell before each event which if they want it to count or not.

Look who broke into the top 50. After a long slump, Jason Mattox is back in the swing and ready to move up.
Cody Hancock hasnt been to many rodeos but he is moving up as well.
