Did anyone watch round five? I'm sure you did. lol. I just caught the team ropin and some of the bull ridin. I saw that a team roper lost his thumb in his dally. I just heard the guys talking about when I came back in the room. I would hate for that to happen. I wish I could watch more of it. I love the NFR. I'll try to catch the replays. God Bless

Rank, rank, rank pen of bulls tonight. The top three rides were all 90 something in my eyes. I woulda given Dustin a score in the neighborhood of 92-93. Judges sure were stingy tonight!
Matt bucked off but wow! He is the most correct rider I have ever seen. He bucked himself off, but I dont expect him to make that kind of mistake again.

Great event last night, although a few too many injuries in all the events for my taste! Congrats to Zeb and Jason! Zeb is really rocking with some impressive rides, but Steve has been quietly riding them all and just does not lose his seat. It is great to see Jason calm down and make a great ride too, especially after his injuries. All the roughstock events had some amazing stock last night. It is rare you see that many buck offs especially with the great riders that are there. Any one that was on stage at the Gold Coast last night in rough stock really fought to get there. It is terrible news about Jake too. Who says roping does not cause injuries? I think Trevor will do a great job with Kory. Speaking of Trevor... here is a question for you all...with Ryan Jarrett inching closer to Trevor is it wise for Trevor to pick up another event that does not add to his all around winnings? It will be interesting to see if it affects his other events at all. PS Every night the NFR streams live on the intranet and you can listen to the previous nights on www.prorodeoradio.com/audio/audio.htm They do a good job with the commentary and the background information as well.

I made it to the team ropin last night. The PRCA needs to start thinkin about the kids who have school....or maybe ESPN 2 should. It wasn't really obvious that Jake lost his thumb...all you saw was the rope come out of his hand. He was really calm about it, too(or it seemed like it to me). I'm glad that just makes another event I get to see Trevor in. Woo hoo I'm glad to see that Dustin and B-Rich rode....I'm pullin for Zeb now lol.

Yeah, I taped the bull ridin. GO DUSTIN. Great ride buddy. I couldn't believe it. Great pen of bulls. I haven't seen rides like that for a long time. It's weird, the PBR doesn't seem to have great rides anymore. Has anyone else noticed that? Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's because they're making the bulls so big now. I'm not sure. But wow, great rides last night. I hope Bobby can make it back up again. He's my home town guy from Gillette. lol. I can't wait until tonights event. Go Dustin, and Bobby!! God Bless

Round 5

I thought it was pretty obvious that something was wrong with Jake. The second that gate opened he was out of there and Kory sorta looked confused about it. That is a shame. I couldn't believe all the problems the team ropers were having though, that was crazy.
Glad to see Fred Whitfield finish in the top few... I am rooting for him to win that title!! But nothing is even close to final in most events, Whitfield only has a cushion of like $3,000.
I also was surprised about how many saddle bronc guys came off...that was a very rank pen.

Well yeah it was obvious that he lost it when they were comin out of the gate but I couldn't tell when it happened. I don't think the commentators knew either. Well I get to heel and I've heard that's who it happens to the most...that makes it that more exciting lol. They jsut told me to keep my thumb up when I dally.
