Gee, these "minor league" riders didnt have much trouble on the "major league" bulls. They rode the crap out of the big name buckers.

on a side note, why was Smokeless Wardance bucked out un the contractor name of Broken Arrow Rodeo Co? i saw that Thomas Taylor was flanking him last night, and i looked over on PBS and it still says that he is with Taylor made bucking bulls...just curious on that one.
and cosy yes, these 'minor league' riders are having no problems with the major league bulls they are going againt!

I think that is the PRCA name for Taylor's bulls, Mary - I believe I've seen it before. Much like they call H.D. Page's bulls "Powder River Rodeo Co."
I missed the third round tonight - gahh! Who came out on top?
Zeb's ride of 94.5 last night was just simply awesome. I had figured that Smokeless Wardance was losing a step after seeing the PBR finals (if I'm allowed to mention that in this section of the forum) but boy, was I ever wrong!
And I didn't see round 1 either - what exactly happened to Sonny Murphy? I know they said he had a fracture in his neck or something. Boy I hate to hear that....I really hope Murphy makes a speedy recovery!

When Thomas first got into bucking bulls, he bought Broken Arrow rodeo company from a guy named Bill (something) in Belen, New Mexico. So his PRCA card says Broken Arrow Rodeo instead of Taylor Made.
BJ Schumacher wn the third round, he was the only guy to ride. I think this is his year. Matts out for the week with injuries, and I hate it for him because he was without a doubt going to win it again.
Sonny got off kind of goofy and it looked like he jammed his head into the dirt. He walked off holding his neck, I heard he fractured two vertabrae.

Yeah, all of Thomas Taylor's bulls last night bucked out under Broken Arrow (i.e. Pudd and Pandora's box)

Wesley Silcox won the round last night! Go Wesley! In fact, only he and J.C. Bean made the whistle - seems like these bulls be figuring out these riders all of a sudden!
And it looks like we lost another cowboy to injury - D.J. Domangue (see my thread in PRCA Riders for more info). I'm sure he'll be out for the rest of the NFR after this. This sucks!

It has been a great competition so far. Can't wait to see how it all turns out. I am hoping to be cheering for a Wisconsin rider during the World Champion buckle ceremony but it will be well earned by any of the cowboys currently in competition!
I think that next year instead of doing a world title match they should do it as a last man standing sort of the like the WWE wrestling matches. It is starting to get that bad. I HATE seeing cowboys standing on the sidelines watching. It just isn't natural! Hopefully all of the injuries are out of the way and the remaining 12 with finish in relatively good health!
GO Fred and BJ!!!

Dustin Eliott won round 6 with 88.5 on Foolish Man. BJ Schumacher covered White Fang for 78.5 points splitting 4/5 place and picking up $5,427 and moved ahead of Matt Austin in the world title race even before the average money is factored in.
Other riders covering tonight include: 2. Fred Boettcher #EXCITE122# 3. Bobby Welsh 4/5. JW Harris
Can't wait to get to Vegas tomorrow to see the action live!
