Im sorry for not bieng the first one here to congratulate BJ and Fred on a job well done at the finals and whole year. They are my home state boys and really great friends of mine. Terri brought this to my attention !!! She is always on top of things. Even during her drunken stupor's....LOL.

Now now I have never been in a drunken stupor....drunken??? perhaps...Stupor NEVER! But you have now redeemed yourself!
It was fantastic to see BJ win not only the world but do it with great style and consistency by also winning the NFR average. He is going to make a great world champion! To give you an idea of what kind of man he is....After winning the round on Wed. night during the buckle presentation he spoke of how much his parents had done for him. How his Dad taught him to ride and his mom was there to support him. He then gave the buckle to his Mom for all that she had done for him.
I have to also take a moment to reflect on WI rider Fred Boettcher as well. He finished the season and the finals strong. Considering he was taken out during the height of the season with injuries and spider bites his successful season is even more impressive. He continues to show that even in his 30s he is a force to be reckoned with! It was fantastic to see him and BJ go one and two on Saturday night! I have to say it was fun being from WI on Sat night in Vegas!
All of the PRCA bull riders were phenomenal and gave their fans a great season. It was a great season and this years NFR was a great finish! I can't wait for the 2007 season to begin!
Finally, I must say congrats to Chief. if you go back and look through the threads you will see that last year just after the 2005 NFR was in the books he was the first to predict that BJ Schumacher would be World Champ in 2006! Any predictions for 2007?
