Prayers for Sammy Andrews tonight. Sammy lost his 6 year old saddle bronc horse, Faded Star to a broken leg tonight in the 9th round after bucking Jesse Bail off.Thoughts and prayers to Sammy and all involved in Andrews Rodeo Co.

oh wow, i didnt see that yet. that horse was a RANK horse, i was excited to see more of him. Lots of losses in the rodeo world this year, hopefully next year isnt the same way.

all i remember is that the horse bucked and when jessie got bucked off the horse spun in mid air landed a little akward and then ran out of the arena. they didnt show the horse running out and they showed jessie, but from what i saw he wasnt limping. just one of those freak accidents that come about with livestock.

They showed Jesse get bucked off and as he was coming downthe horse reared up and looked like it grazed Jesse on the elbow. Then the horse went down. It never showed the horse after it wne down on our broadcast.

It really sucks for Andrews rodeo because they were debating on whether to buck that bronc that night too...

I was watching the jumbo tron when the horse wen't down but. That was a bad break though the leg was almost fully rotated when the pick up men were leading it out of the arena. I was surprised that they didnt need to bring in a trailer for that one.
