Do you guys think that the pbr would be a little more entertaining with the like of "Hollywood " Donnie Yates, Doug Forzanni, and Donnie Sparks. During the bullfighting in Salinas they were Hilarious and well after the event they were even funnier. Just wondering if we are due for a change i mean rasmussen is good and smets is good but it is time toi change the guard.

I think Flint and Rob are the best in the business and I personally am in no hurry to see them "retire" or move on. One of these days, they will, but hopefully that's a long time down the road for both of them. However, I've been a tad concerned for Rob lately. It sure seems like he's taking a lot of hits here in the last 6 or 9 months, some of them pretty serious. I don't think it's 'cause he isn't good at his job anymore, but I think it has more to do with the fact that age is creeping up on him. I don't care how much you work out and keep in shape, eventually your reflexes aren't what they used to be (yeah, I'm speaking from personal experience ). I truly hope Rob retires from bullfighting before he gets seriously injured. He's gotta know when to say when, just like any other athlete in any other sport. Personally, I think he's got a great chance at a commentating career after he retires from his bullfighting career!

Good to see Rob is OK after getting hooked by Pandora's Box. Here's what he said on his Web site:
"Just would like to thank everyone for their e-mails of concern. I am sore but will be all right, and I am looking forward to the event in Ft. Lauderdale."

Rob takes a lot of hits because Rob knows what his job is . . . protect the bull rider. Granted, he is older than the others and may not be quite as fast as he used to be but he is still the best. When he starts running the other way and then taking hits, that's when I'll start worrying about Rob. I, too, would like to see him go out on top but I know that until he walks away, he will continue to do what he does best. As far as Hollywood and the rest, my opinion is that they can't hold a candle to Flint in the comedy department. I've know Hollywood for many years and don't think he's learned a new joke since the beginning of his career. Flint is true entertainment and can come up something funny in a split second. If you had been at any of the events that Flint wasn't able to work this year, there was a noticable difference in the whole atmosphere of the bull riding. I'd have to say those breaks were boring. Just my opinion.

Rob is Rob and he has just been unlucky.... You have those patches... Every funnyman is different and appeals on different level'.....
As for a changing of the Gaurd on Bullfighters that is totally up to the Bull Riders as they vote on the guys they think should be protecting them.....
