I was at a bullriding school last week, taught by BJ Schumacher. I would like to say that he did an EXCELLENT job at teaching. There were first timers and vetrans there, and from the first bull to the last, there was tremendous amount of improvement by all riders. BJ really had a way of connecting to the riders and explaining things to them. I would highly recommend his school to anyone. He spent ALOT of one on one with them......

Well I was privileged enough to also get to go and watch the school that BJ put on and I have to agree 110% with Chief.
BJ did an amazing job working with all of the riders. He spent a lot of one on one time with all of the students. His teaching was really tailored to each student’s goals and riding ability. BJ had an amazing way of explaining things to the students that helped them really understand what they needed to do. Every student showed real improvement not just in their riding but also their confidence. BJ also took the time to talk to the students about what it takes outside the arena to be successful, something that not all schools take the time to do.
I was also very impressed with the stock contractors and the stock that they brought. Not only was there plenty of stock and all the students had the chance to get on as many bulls as they wanted but there was plenty of stock at every level. They did an excellent job of matching riders with appropriate stock for their riding level.
Finally, I have to mention that Chief did a great job helping protect all the riders during the weekend. There were also some young bullfighters there that got lessons from Chief. By the end of the weekend, they showed good improvement and were even free styling bulls well.

I'm calling out Wisconsin-favoritism! ;D
Nah, seriously, it looks like it went really well, and if any of those guys have half the talent BJ does, they will have a bright future ahead for themselves.
But how about that Chief? I didn't know you were going to be doing bullfighting stuff there also. All of us here at 8 Second Addiction salute our member!!
Show that 8 Second Addiction pride Chief!
