Did anyone else happen to catch this show on sunday night on "E"? www.eonline.com/On/FilthyRich/
Premise: take ten of hollywood's most spoiled rotten young adults and plop 'em down on a ranch in Colorado to learn to "cowboy". Rather than winning cash for themselves, the money won does go to the team's favorite charity, so there is one redeeming quality to the program.
This show was soooooooooo bad I had to watch! What a bunch of whining, pathetic examples of the human race! If you think the contestants on Cowboy U are whiners, just wait to you get a taste of these losers! The cast includes:
Kourtney Kardashian (step-daughter of Bruce Jenner - I'm SURE he's proud!)
George Foreman III
Shanna Ferrigno (daddy is Lou Ferrigno)
Noah Blake (son of Robert Blake)
Brittny Gastineau (pop is NY Jets Mark Gastineau)
Fabian Basabe (son of some Ecuadorian business tycoon)
Courtenay Semel (get of Yahoo CEO Terry Semel)
Alex Quinn (dad was Anthony Quinn)
Haley Giraldo (daughter of Pat Benatar)
Alexander Clifford (son of some fancy-pants English baron)
It is just unbelievable how these kids act and interact! At one point, one of the wranglers makes the comment about one of the brats that "the best part of that one ran down his(or her) daddy's leg" and he sure ain't kidding! Oh, and when they get together and start commiserating on how little they get for monthly allowances from their parents, I just wanna puke! (Allowances ran anywhere from $4000/month to 10,000/month - oh you POOR babies!!) It just makes ya wish for that big one to hit california and take hollywood into the sea, if this is the norm for what these celebrities' kids are like! I spent the whole hour just shaking my head and rolling my eyes. Makes me REALLY glad to have born into a family of "working class"!
I do have to say that George Foreman III was the most normal out of the bunch and actually just MIGHT be a human being...........I pity that he has to spend time with the rest of those losers. And I really hope that they paid those wranglers lots of money to have to put up with the likes of them!!
