It's audition time again! Hopefully this time I will at least make it to the audition! LOL. I will be trying out in OKC the 29th of this month. I'm so nervous, so ya'll keep me in your prayers! Hey Holly...is Toby's I Love This Bar & Grill (I think that's it!) hard to find or do you know where it is? I will be staying in Lawton. Anyone else trying out this year?

Lawton? Do you have family there or something? That is a good ways from OKC.
Toby's Bar is very easy to find. It's in Bricktown, and right off I-40, so you will find it easily. It's in the same area as the Ford Center, Bricktown Ballpark, and the BassPro Shop.

Cody - I don't have family there, but a friend just moved to Lawton and he's the only person I know in Oklahoma. I heard it's about 45 minutes away...is that true?
Glad to hear that it's easy to find! How far are ya'll from there? You're more than welcome to come...it's open to the public! I think that's another reason I'm so nervous. Maybe that'll help me perform better, though, knowing I have a bigger audience.

Lawton is a good hour or hour and 15 minutes from OKC. That's if you take the turnpike the whole way.
We live about an hour west from OKC.

Turnpike? Uh-oh. This sounds like it might be complicated. We don't have turnpikes in AR. We don't have anything in AR.
I figure that driving from Lawton to OKC would be cheaper that paying for a hotel room...especially if I get called back and have to stay another night.

It isn't really that far and the turnpike makes it pretty easy. You just end up right in OKC. Well help in any way we can!!

Yeah, they're at Toby's. Thanks for the support!! I don't know if we should jump to gettin me a fan base yet or not, haha!! I'm tryin to get a website up so people can listen to me, but I'm not happy with any of the demos I have right now, so it might be a while. If I do make to the TV show, you guys can DEFINITELY be the first in my fan club! LOL! I'll keep you up to date!  |

However, I'm kinda runnin into a speed bump...I didn't really stick with the budget this month, so after tonight I will know for sure if I'm even gonna get to come still. I guess if it's in God's will, then I'll be there! I will get on here tomorrow and let ya'll know!
